1. Bump - I'm probs looking to sell now rather than trade. I'm not doing enough to warrant 2 basses let alone 3. £900 collected - I will ship if required (at an additonal cost) or as I said, I'm heading to Leeds in a few weeks time so could attempt to deliver/meet then.
 2. Should say also that i'm travelling to Leeds in 2 weeks time so could take the bass to trade/sell there. If trading i can also meet further south?
 3.
How, how, how, how, how? I've always wanted to work at gigs and roadie but i've never been able too! I don't even know who to ask Very lucky man indeed!
Its not as fun as it seems. I did the local crew for pink. Think it was Aberdeen Stage Crew - guy named chris. Nice money though.
 4. Bump - this is a bloody nice bass to play. Tradewise i'm looking for a headless status i think. but i'll consider anything! Or £900 - these appear to be well over £1k new - this has awesome pickups, amazing pre and has been shielded.
 5.
Honestly dude, it's a keyboard. If you'd spent any time on the Muse messageboard you'd have heard this a million times.
This is right. Jesus I haven't been on that forum for AGES! Kit and tab = yass! I'm going to faff around with my deep impact and see if it can nail it at all.
 6.
yeh. I don't know if the deep impact would come close? I've never tried one
I've got sounds like it - but for that type sound i settle for my fuzz with no actual bass.
 7.
The bass sound for the verse of Time is running out by Muse (is that what you mean?) is just a keyboard with some clean bass.
Aye - same synth as Hysteria right? JP8000 (need to get my synth guy to get one )
 8.
So I may be sending my Ampeg to Greece if the buyer still wants it. I just need to get measurements over the weekend for size and weight. I've never shipped abroad. The amp is flight-cased, but I'm assuming I'll still need to find a box to put it in. Also when does the guy pay? Does he pay when he receives it or half when I send it and the other half when he gets it or summat similar? I'm not sure how it works?
I would get the full 100% payment before i even considered it leaving me. Just get it insured fully. and bubblewrap it to hell
 9.
Hmmm, I'd say the MXR Blowtorch, but you've already tried it. What didn't you like about it? I play a Warwick Stage I through it, and I'm repeatedly impressed by it when I'm playing with my band. My settings kind of look 'wrong' and on its own it doesn't so great but in the mix it is something else.
Could never get the tone i wanted from it. Good pedal defo but there was just something i couldnt click with. Also it wasnt actually mine. I decided on the iron ether oxide - so thats currently winging its way to me. Maybe try pairing with the mastatron. As an FYI - i got the tone i liked from the mastotron then pushed it to insanity with the mammoth.
 10. Just up the road from you is Dennis Marshall - He'd probs get it working.
 11.
snip and fluffed a couple of bars at the end of one tune, but what an experience.
Just give a p1ssed off look to the guitarist in this situation
 12. Its soul destroying when an instrument is nicked I had my old warwick nabbed out my car -left my wallet in a mates flat and ran up to get it). Thankfully I chased the little bawbag down and got it back would love to hear more of this story!
 13.
Pity your ad doesn't read... 'wanted GB fretless.. this for trade... think that's a gorgeous looking bass, love the Montego look.. if mine sells.... Good luck Andy
Sorry mate - I'm appauling with fretless. All i ever do is slide up really high on them.
 14. I lasted 12 seconds (damn why's that ALWAYS happen )
 15. paint a normal black one perhaps? Not kidding btw.
 16.
I'd love to try this out xD
Welcome to mate - just give me a shout.
How does the mammoth suit active basses?
I wont lie - It appears to hate them Or it does at least with me. Apparently a buffer helps out but i've not been able to test this. Might try and setup my sfx blue dragon and see if it works.
 17. Does it need to be new? coughcough

 20.
Yes! This looks perfect! First response to the thread and you've nailed it. I love this place Are there any alternatives worth considering? Edit: I've just noticed the 'mix' portion of X&M is mixing the relative levels of the high and low bands - I was after mixing the effected signal with the clean, which is a slightly different kettle of fish. If that pedal had a master wet/dry knob it'd be perfect
Max does custom designs/Ideas also. Email him I've had 2 pedals customised by him
