    Hey everyone, I bought a live PA a fair while back but only ever used of the power amps, speakers, mixer and stands. So i still have a few bits and bobs that someone might find some use out of. I'll update more as i remember... First up is a Pro Co Stagemaster (16 outs i think) - useful you have your own PA but still want the mixer etc FOH - [url="http://www.procosound.com/snakeworks/stagemaster-snake"]http://www.procosound.com/snakeworks/stagemaster-snake[/url] Call it £50. - On hold Next is a Fostex De1 Multifx thingy - [url="http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/dec99/articles/sessentials.htm"]http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/dec99/arti...sessentials.htm[/url] We only used it briefly with the vocals - For a cheeky reverb etc. Say £50 also. Also have a Behringer Feedback Destroyer. Rack mount - we used it to kill feedback from our monitors (which i'll also be selling when i can recall what they are..?) Peavey MP5 Plus powered mixer - 4 channels - 150w i think - be ideal for a pub gig etc. - No idea how much for this - £50? - SOLD All these prices are not including postage. But i'll work out weights etc this week. UPDATE:- I have some other stuff to sell. Peavey CS800 Power amp - 400w each side - one channel is giving a lower output. Not really sure why. £50 Studiomaster Session 16-2 Gold mixing desk - £50 - everything works brilliantly on it - all sliders/knobs etc still there. 2 x Carslbro 15" speakers. These are complete monsters. Come with stands. Ping me an email for pics. Say £100. Yamaha stage monitors - i cant see details on these. Say £50 for the pair. again i can send pics if required.     Bump again. £550 for a brilliant cab - £580 for your friendly neighbourhood courier man to deliver to your door/work/etc! I need a decent power amp!

I'll just wrap the cab in card and leave the wheels on show. Would still prefer local collection but if needed I can ship.

    Sorry I should have said before (damned lunch!) - I didnt use that exact model - used the 707 i think (agesss ago) But it only had 3 pedals on it - Bank up, Bank down and an exp pedal. I had to set 3 different banks - eg one patch would be set with a fuzz tone, other clean and the other synth for example. If I was playing a synth sound then wanted a fuzz for example, I had to press bank down twice - so Synth to Clean to Fuzz. This was a long time ago, and the 707 could be drastically different from the B2.1u. Apologies for the confusion!

    From my experience of Zoom gear (which was a few years ago mind) - mines didnt let me switch an effect off per se - i had to change bank. so i just always put effects together i used more frequently. 1 - Fuzz 2- Clean 3 - Synth Sorta thing.

    I dont really practice my moves as it were. More just let the feel take me! Which usually happens in practice too. Just makes sure you know what your hands are doing so its 2nd nature for them. If i'm doing fairly tech stuff i can mess up when i try showing off! Good luck.

    Hey all, This is a long shot but... Myself and a few mates have started putting gigs on in Aberdeen (and further in a few months). Our next is Sunday 15th May - We're having some problems getting bands to stick this time so i'm offering a gig to anyone who fancies it. Give me a shout if you're in a band which could get to Aberdeen. I need a few, and Aberdeen bands keep pulling out. Dave

    Hmm i'd probs say:- 1) Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine) - Heard RATM when i was pretty young and instantly fell in love with the sound - Know your enemy amazed me (One reason I got my tattoo) 2) Geddy Lee (Rush) - In all honesty, i read that Tim C liked Rush and Geddy Lee - So i investigated. Moving Pictures is still one of my favourite albums ever. 3) Billy Sheehan (Mr Big) - Saw some solo bass vids when i was younger. and adored them. 4) Chris Wolstenholme (Muse) - Loved his use of fx and fuzz. 5) Joe Principe (Rise Against) - Just love his tone and what he does in songs. Great fun lines. I seem to like the letter "R" with band names.

    Hey guys, Silly question here - My band are looking to do some lower stuff but i can't justify getting a 5 string again, so i'm tempted to use my Stingray 3EQ 4 sting tuned to BEAD (with 5 string set on) and use this for the low songs. But I've not tried the 'ray with my Deep Impact and Wooly Mammoth or Mastatron. They work amazingly with my passive lakland, but i'm worried about trying them with the 'ray. Anyone use two different basses (active + passive) for live work with these type of compressing pedals? If i recall - the 'ray didn't really play ball with the other pedals, but this was when i was still trying to get sounds (and using a midi pickup also..) And finally is there a way i can try and get the same sort of dirty tone/synth tones as with the lakland? So i dont need to actually change settings on the amp/pedals I do have SFX clean boost/buffer that i think might work. Cheers for any help. Dave

    I was casually browsing the forum and decided to look here...Big mistake. All amazing - need to get mine on at some point! I'm totally tempted to hunt down a DJ5. If it's Natural + Maple neck + black blocks and Pickguard i will die. *drools*
