1. Won't be able to buy it by the way - I'd be left without a cab as I've only got a combo at the moment...
2.
Was it in your dads attic?
LOL!!! PM'd

TAB

not usually! haha, well I usually need to know the song properly before I can read the tab, or even learn it by ear. I then at least try it out by ear, then tab it
5. ah ok, cool I misread 'where you can try it out through the Matamp 2x12...no obligation to buy!' to mean you were selling the 2x12. hmmmmm, ooh I will have to think about this one!! So tempting! Though you are on the other side of england to me! I know what you mean about posting, though. - any idea what a courier would cost?
6. I am a total newbie when it comes to these things, but i tried a similar one out the other day and fell in love. So a few questions: 1) how many watts? 2) will it get to gig volume? 3) is that 2x12 compatible (ohms, etc) and how much for it?
7. woaahhh!! 2 month old thread revival!
8. I'm suprised how long this thread has stayed idle for before it being found!! We're talking November, people.
9. ahhahahahha!! i will be on the lookout...
10. o.O Anyway, Macdaddy post the damn reply!!
11. I look forward to the day when I can contribute to this conversation. I'm still stuck with a 2008 fender american jazz and an ibanez something-or-other.
12. I know there's a 50 going for £650 at bonners, if that's any guideline at all!!
13. I could probably go - though if it's a saturday it might be dodgy because I work, but yeah, I'd be up for it. I'd get the train there, so I'd only be able to bring my usa fender 2008 jazz.
14. oh and yah, itunes will do wav--> mp3 almost automatically if you set your encoder to mp3 and try to import a wav into itunes.
15. which webcam is it? Does the software with it not do it?
16. I havn't, but I'd suggest that maybe your phone would be just as good. most phones have sound recorders built in, so you can just put it in the room next door (to avoid distortion) and hit record. It's what our band does and it seems to work for me.
17. iTunes for the win! It solves all musical problems.... don't question me on that.
18. I'm 6 ft 3 so I can't really get my strap much lower than waist height. Anyway, sitting down and playing I actually find uncomfortable sometimes, but I always practise standing anyway.
19. There's a great trick that kutless' bassist uses that's not quite as risky as the full 'bass swing'. Basically he kind of throws his bass to his left (in front of him) using his right hand against the back of the bass, and then (cos it's in some drop tuning) he then uses the same hand to kind of strum the strings at about the 12th fret, and to then catch it as it sings back down with the left hand and keeps on playing. It's quite impressive!!
20. I used to play on the bridge pickup (on my jazz and PJ). But Now I've slipped into the habbit of playing on the front pickup. Much deeper, much warmer, and much louder (it helps!!). And much easier on my precious fingers. Also I got a hartke preamp and that's just changed my tone beyond recognition - it's amaaazing!!
21. mamma mia! mamma mia! mamma mia!! I think i got it! haha. superglue seems to be the general consensus. Best of luck (unless it was last night... in which case - well done!)
