1. Made by Harper, I got it a few years ago as a birthday present and now I've moved out I have no room for it! only really used it to jam when camping a few times, it's had no gigs or anything! Just been a bit scratched in places. Plays nicely and had a new pickup installed soon after I got it. It's going to basschat for £275 + postage or collection from SE or central London, Eastbourne or maybe Southampton! Fleabay link (with pictures and more info) and yes, that's right. it comes with a FREE hard case! FREE!
2. bump for a courier - £33.50! - 1 potential buyer as well. This can't hang around for long!
3. Hey guys, This amp has served me faithfully for the few years I've had it, but now I must move to uni and it's way too big to take into a tiny halls room! Only damage is that it's missing one of the rubber square feet - it still stands perfectly level and doesn't affect the tone or sound. Also the 'output' dial is missing half of the dial. but you can still see exactly where the dial's pointing and turn it just as easily, it just looks a little rough. I've used it really lightly for the last year or so - gigged it once or twice, but before then it was gigged every few months - probably only ever seen about 10 gigs in it's time, but lots of practise. Sounds beautiful with a hartke pre-amp infront of it, and doesn't lack bass at all. Price: [s]£300[/s] £250 Collection from Eastbourne - I can travel about 20/30 miles (Lewes, Brighton, half way to London, somewhere like that). or you can arrange a courier or I can find out how much one is. I personally have no idea how much to sell this at so if you do think I ought to change the price, PM me. More specs here if you need them: http://www.fretmusic.co.uk/Ashdown_MAG_C41...t_spkr_out.html I'll part exchange for a small amp (something like a small hartke kickback would be ideal). Payment by bank transfer, cash, paypal, cheque (has to clear first), anything, really.
4. also, reserves put off buyers massively. I know I'm way less likely to bid on something if it has a reserve. You could just put it on at a starting bid of £200 instead.
5. BEAUTIFUL. seriously, I LIKE. though double bass in punk?! wowza.
6. Love the music, but he's a complete arse in person.
7. I once left it leaning against the amp... came back to a 2cm deep, 4cm long dent, right through the paint, halfway between the front pickup and the top of the bass.
8.
I've heard this comment a lot, but haven't really got my head around what it means. Obviously I can spot it in extreme cases such as this: (youtube vid) But are there examples of well known songs where the bassist is not just a guitarist playing bass, but really sounds like one too?
Never mind THAT, i'm more worried about...
9. I once held a C for a full half a bar before slippin down to B. It was not jazz.
10. erm, yes, so uhh... it's 'independence day for a petty thief' by house of heroes. I recorded it about 20 mins after picking up my bass to work it out, so parts of it are a bit rough. Took me 2 takes, and I only recorded it on the camera mic (it gets messy syncing audio if i don't) and then overdubbed the original track and tried to sync it as best i could. I think because I used the spotify track to record to and then my own local copy to overdub, the audio was out of sync at the bridge slightly making me out of time? who knows, I might record it again... Any tips on my technique would be much appreciated. sitting down to play I find it less comfortable to play - it just kinda doesn't work for me. I'm also silly tall and my hands are huge. Thought ya might want to know. edited for typos!
11. wow. that answered his question. Jokes, I'd stay away from it. it looks a bit cheap and not great. Though i have to say that line 6 do some great cheap audio interfaces as said above.
12. YES YES YES. Love your videos, man!!
13. I'm watching Mark Knopfler that evening and I have 2 exams in the day. WIN.

15. Hey all, I've got a gig at the end of the month which will be using in ear monitoring. I've got a set of ultimate ears super.fi 5 pros. Basically the cable's snapped at the headphone end of the right earphone. SO, I need a replacement cable. I've gone absolutely everywhere and can't find anywhere selling them. it seems like EVERYWHERE is sold out. If anyone can find me a link i would be so grateful to them!! In clear colour if possible, but I'm willing to settle for anything that works!!
16. Can it be used as an audio interface to hook up to logic/protools do you think?
17. I've got the Samson 4i's which are absolutely AWESOME. They sound great, and I use them with my BR-900CD Top notch sound quality, and it's not a particularly well-known brand, so you know you're not paying for the brand name (as with bose, etc.). You can pick them up for just over or near £100 most places on the interweb.
18. No pics (sorry guys) as of yet, but I'm REALLY looking for a recording interface, so I'm willing to part-ex up to £50 for one on top of this. it's a bit of a long shot, but it's worth a try. Cash selling price: £65 + postage Comes with box/manuals, etc. Good condition, I hardly use it anymore :/ It's one of the last things on my pedalboard, though...!
19. was the price edited on or am I blind? oh well, doesn't matter now, I'm broke!!!
