2.
Looks good so far. I'll look forward to seeing that progress. It's fascintaing how it takes the finishing process to bring out the real beauty of the facing woods.
Thanks BaasBus, I think the figuring on the maple will be quite subtle even after it's varnished. I wanted something different and more understated then the curly maple on my Progress. R.

4. I love this bass but as I tend to use 5 strings these days and prefer rosewood necks this is the least used bass I own. I have a fretless Overwater being built for me so I could do with freeing up some cash to pay for it, I'm not desperate so kinda hope it doesn't sell! I know that sounds weird but I'm sure a lot of you will know where I coming from Generally it's in superb condition with no buckle rash, but does have two dings, they are shown in the pics. lovely low action. Comes with MM case. £700.00 Collected from South East London or possibly Luton. R. 5.
Is this gone?
No I still have it. R.
6. I have an EBS Octabass pedal, it tracks well and is a more subtle sounding effect than an OC2, a tad too subtle for my liking. That MXR pedal looks promising. R
7. Well I bought this 18 months ago from someone on Basschat but haven't used it at all so I thought I might see if anyone wants to swop. it's in good condition with only minor scatches, no box or manual and it has velcro on the base. Open to any offer of a like for like trade. Sell for £50 including postage. R.

10.
Hello, recently I have searched long & hard for a fretless 4 & during the past weeks I have been fortunate to place my hands on the likes of Zon,Pedulla,Warwick & Fender, but rather than boost the American or European economies I suggest you contact Chris or Laurence at Overwater (email or phone) which is the route that I finaly took & in my case was fortunate to purchase a used Progress fretless that they had in stock,it arrived this morning & it is truly stunning.Out of all the instruments that I have played this is far & away the best use of my hard earned cash, good luck in your quest, mike b.
Chris sent me pics of your fretless progress just in case I was interested in it unfortunately it had one string too few for me, lovely looking bass though. R.
11.
That's very good of you - looks like we're in the same sort of area. I'm in Farnborough in Kent, whereabouts are you based?
I'm in Sydenham so not far at all, PM me if you want to give the Progress a try, weekends are best for me. Cheers R.
12. Hi I love my Overwater Progress and I'm going to have a Perception fretless 5 made for me. if you want to come and try my one you are welcome to pop over. It's a good time to order one to as they are knocking half the price off of the cost of any upgrades. R.
13.
I want to sell this so I can nab OldHorseMurphy's USA P-Bass bump!
..... and then Nick (OldHorseMurphy) can buy my Stingray 5 Good luck with the sale. R
14. Hello! I do have a soft spot for Shergolds. R.
15. +1 for Gotoh bridges I have one on my Jazz it's much better then the standard one. I have Delano pick-ups installed that I really like, warm and punchy. they have big single pole pieces so no good if you want to keep the traditional look though. R.
16. OK after talking to Chris May at Overwater I'm kinda sold on the idea of having a Perception fretless 5 made for me so the SR5 is only really up for sale now. Cheers R.
17. I find a decent tutorial book with a CD better then a DVD for learning stuff - cheaper to R.
18. Great lightweight cab at an excellent price. Good luck with the sale. R.
19. Nice! I played a white one of these for many years. Have a BUMP on me. R.
20. Hi, My urge to own another fretless has overtaken me but I can't justify going out and buying a new one so I am offering up my Stingray 5 for sale as I now have a beautiful Overwater that covers the 5 string fretted work. It's in excellent condition with no noticeable marks and plays like a dream. It could do with a new set of strings, I actually like it with old dull strings so have never changed them. Come with case and case candy. £750 ovno Collected Might trade for a 5 string lined/unlined fretless - Overwater or Roscoe. Cheers R.
