1.
£1000 - £1200 I think You have to be a brave man to spend 1k+ on a bass you havn't played or have a clue what it plays like IMHO of course!
Many thanks for your input, you are right about playing it first, I shall probably walk away from this beast unless I can get it for a bargain price that is!
 2. They seem to be about £2000 new online. Would it be worth about half that secondhand?
 3.
For what its worth I had a Thumb 5-string, and it was the worst bass for neck dive I've ever played. I sold it for that reason. Also I didn't think the MEC pickups and circuit were all that. Give the bass a try if you can - see what you think.
Thanks Chop, I'm not going to get to try it unfortunately as it too far away, ordinarily I wouldn't consider A Warwick or a six string but if it was up for sale at a good price I would consider trying it then selling or trading it if I didn't like it. R.
 4. Hello, I may get the chance to make an offer on a Warwick 6 string but all the info I have is that it's a thru-neck SN: B 041 89 and the picture supplied. 6 strings are one too many for me but if it's going for below average second hand prices I might give it a go! I know nowt about Warwicks so any info and a rough idea as to how much it would sell for secondhand would be a great help. Cheers R.
 5. Sold. Many Thanks Alex, nice to meet you and I hope you enjoy the amp. Regards Dave
 6. I have one tuner on my Squire P that rattles, can't work out why but if I put an elastic band over the offending tuner and the one next to it it stops! bloody annoying so I hope you get it sorted. R.
 7.
Im very interested in this. Not sure about the travel and pick up though. I reckon i could make a weekend sebatical down to the big smoke though, at that price it might be worth it. Whereabouts in london you based? Would you consider a meet in the middle at a service station somewhere on the M6/M1? Let me know.
I may very well be in the West Midlands Sat through to Weds if that's any good for you let me know? R.
 8.
I got a hartke ha4000 a few weeks back, but just a few days ago I found out it was faulty, so I send it back yesterday to the guy, that one was exactly 12.2kg btw, but I guess the 3500 might be a little lighter, still, they are good, but heavy as f*** amps, well, compared to the mark bass I had, that was light as anything.. I'd buy this off you when I get my money back but I'm gonna leave replacing it until after xmas, need the money!! good luck.
Sorry to here you got a duff HA4000 mate, I thought they were built proof! al the best R.
 9. Hello, thanks for all the comments re postage. let me explain my situation. Are you sitting comfortably? I have actually found a box and some packing material that this will fit in but at the moment there is zero chance of me being at home during the week for a courier to collect it and due to an ill relative I have to be on standby to leg it to the West Midlands at short notice. basically it's almost imposible for me to commit to being in half a day waiting for a courier. Sorry to be a pain. Regards R.
 10.
hey Whats the weight of this?
Hi, from memory it's about 10kg, if you want a more precise weight I could weigh it for you later today. R.

 14.
Mine smells of toffee - I make everyone smell it and they think I'm weird, suppose I am really.
I wish all my basses could be made to smell like my Sterling, I guess that makes me a tad on the weird side to!
 15.
NORMALLY....... Maple boards are finished with lacquer (acrylic or cellulose) so my guess is its the polish.... Unless someone has used a magic tree as a shim in the neck pocket.....
I'll try the Magic Tree shim method on my Stingray to try and make it as sweet smelling as the Sterling, now where's my screwdrivers...
 16.
What type fret board do you have? It could have been treated with Lemming Oil? BTW, PRS polish smells very nice.... Polish mine twice a year and they smell lovely after for a few weeks...
It's a maple board, can you use lemon oil on that or is it for rosewood boards?
 17.
Chances are it's the case you store it in, if you do.
It's in a standard Musicman case do they smell nice then? all my other cases smell of nothing or have a nasty plastic chemical smell to them.
 18. Weird question I know but I have a Musicman Sterling and it smells fantastic, I also have a Stingray 5 but that's odourless, I was wondering if it had anything to do with the back of the neck which I'm guessing is treated with wax or oil to protect it. Any help would be appreciated. R.
 19.
Ill have it at christmas lol (can you wait?)
Well Christmas isn't that far away!
