1. Sorry to hear of this. PM'd.
2.
Not entirely convinced RIC's reach extends to the Czech Republic - in fact not too far outside the US. Lots of Rick copies seem to get openly sold with impunity these days, so it's probably a bit more than they can cope with. These are definitely a bit special-looking compared to the run-of-the-mill Rockinbetters & Anniversaries, and I'd love to get a good look at one. If I remember rightly there have been a few Bach threads on here before, although not for a while. Didn't the main guy from Bach actually post here a few times? Jon.
If that's the case, all the better! It'll put those fuds on RR in a right knot! I'm almost tempted to go post there under my sockpuppet name and go 'Seen this?' just to watch the fireworks. Agreed: miles better than those others you mentioned. I rather like the Entwistle-inspire Fenderbird; I'd have that! In Zebra stripes. Speaking of shid Rick-a-likes, I bought an Alden Beatbacker a few years back, on a whim. It was awful: rough, unsealed wood in parts, buzzy electrics and a scratchplate that still had the straight-edge of the cutting machine on one side, Sent it back to 'Wales' where, after much humming and hawing, I was given a refund.

This is the one with the wide but slim neck profile and rolled edges, yeh?
4. Wow. Are these basses for sale, do you know? Or is that just a gear porn page?
5. I'll bet the RIC police on Rickresource contacted John Hall long ago about these fellas; I'm surprised they haven't gotten an injuction slapped on them yet, for they've been out for a while.
6.
looks like a young boris johnson
Indeed Boris. And the other fellow ringed is Darius Guppy, methinks. What they did.
7.
Indeed mate as this pic proves.
If there ever was a photo that would incite mass murder, it's that one!
8.
That guy does not suit that guitar.
+1 to that.
9. Paul, Please reconsider what you're doing here, man. You're giving the bass away at that price and I won't apologise for saying so! I've taken mine off the market, though did get fannied by a couple of other ebay tubes looking for a bargain after I did. Don't do it, mate; it's worth double what you're asking right now!
10. Nice. Did you get that fella from the 'States?
11.
Cool but short lived, however Traci looks lovely - now new wallpaper on my 'phone, SOG I know.
Yeh, she's nice but I much prefer Rammstein's 'Krankenschwester' as my phone theme!
12. I reckon that's either a Schecter or (more likely) an ESP Horizon. In fact, I'm sure it's the latter, though I never saw that pup config on the ESP. A good neck and decent, riveted(?) tuners, from what I can make out. You selling it?
13.
THIS is a jazz... 1962... fretless, J-Retro, DiMarzios...
I like that. A lot!
14. TBH, there's no harm done in asking for a trade and neither have I had any insulting offers here; Basschat isn't like that. Ebay is, however. If I were you, mate, I'd keep the bass.
15.
simple really..it's called the recession..bet you've had loads of (crap) offers/interest but people (well me anyway) just haven't got the cash at the moment. The thing about quality gear is that if it doesn't sell this week it might next week. Hold on to it a put it up again in a few weeks/months. Classic case of this is the EKO BX7 from Portugal which is up for grabs (yet again). Nice bass, wrong price!!!
Oh, there's still a lot of kit shifting for loads more money that this fella's up for. Yes, there have been insults and demands: Some guys want to pay buttons for frieght, meaning next to no insurance, but I'd bet that wouldn't preclude them from pulling a 'chargeback' stint on paypal if the bass got lost/damaged in transit. And, k'now what? Your right! This T-bass is a great bass at the wrong price: myself and Paul N are asking too little. The bass stays and the savings will have to get raided. Again!
16. Go Seam Foam Green, mate, or turquoise. Get some pickguards and surrounds from Pickguardian and put in some real RIC pups!! I had an Ib like that as a kid and that front pup was as weak as sin!
17. Ok, gonna be cruel here: that headstock. Hamer coulda smoothed that out a bit!
18. Stacker

SOLD

You paid full whack for that?? Best of luck with your sale. Good basses/
19. It's bizarre, isn't it? Very rare and people bit your hand off a few yaers back if they popped up on evilbay. Not now, though. Don't get it. I had lost of foreign interest but these geezers wouldn't pay the freight/insurance I stipulated.
20. What a lovely looking bass.
21. Still here. Two of 'em on Basschat and no biters??
22. That was an under-rated bass, that. If I recall, the 2-TEK cost a few quid in its own, but I can't give you a figure for resale, mate. Does the bridge make the bass a bit heavy and how about posting a few pix?
23. Fender caused all this nonsense back in the '80s by naming the stack-knob reissue a '62 reisssue' when, in fact, the stackers were made between '60-'61 with a few leftovers being punted out in '62. It should really, therefore, be called the 1960 reissue. The 62RIs coming out if Japan should, as stated, have the spiral bridge and grounding strap. As far as I know they're all alder though would not discount the use of basswood. They'll have the dot neck and three pot config.
24.
There's a guy works down the chip shop says he's Elvis - but he's busy tonight
Clearly!!
