  1. I recently picked up one of these and they are simply astonishing amps for the money... I was genuinely VERY surprised at the build quality - you could stick a different brand label on this and charge 5 times the amount. Really good, cheap little amps these!
  2. Yours is £1200 less than this one from our good friends at Essex Recording Studio... Maybe offer it to them for a mere £1000, they'll still get £600 profit ging by their disgustingly ludicrous prices! https://www.essexrecordingstudios.com/products/mesa-boogie-usa-m-pulse-600-parametric-eq-bass-guitar-amplifier-amp-head In a serious note, I had one of these a while back - superb amps. £400 is a bit of a steal to be honest!
  3. Yeah, sorry, that was me messaging him to tell him - poor sod is only trying to sell his bass! Thought it the correct thing to tell him of his minor error. Definitely gave me a chuckle too!
  4. Get out... get out now. 👉🏼
  5. Fix looks good! @Richard R - give it a go and see if it works for you.
  6. Right... I 'think' I have the solution... Go to the Samsung Keyboard settings, click on 'Suggest Text Corrections' and switch it off. Seems to have worked for me for now...
  7. Yup. Same.
  8. Seems to be just here! Not had any issues anywhere else. Tis odd!
  9. Every time I type anywhere on Basschat the text I'm typing randomly has thousands of page breaks added to it! Was trying to message another user and every word I typed was followed by about 20 page breaks! Same when typing this message, had to delete literally 400-500 page breaks! No idea what's happening!
  10. They responded to my message this morning saying they are discussing the matter with the owner. Hopefully this means @ymdtzx has got in touch with the shop and not that the shop have got in touch with the person/thief that sold it to them... Let's hope @ymdtzx responds to this thread soon with positive news.
  11. I've sent the seller a message via eBay. It was £1000 buy it now two days ago, just looked and now it's £2000!!! Them now being told its stolen serves their greed right!
  12. It's currently being sold by Cash Generator in Leicester. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144910371844?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=z7TDjAY0R12&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=mojaVkKDRiC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  13. You can get a custom hand painted Warwick for 40% off... Only a mere €12,865 instead of €21,430. For that you'd think they'd get the description right!!! Check out the last point of spec below... 🤣
  14. If you do list it for sale here, you can always include within the advert your 'trade options', so best of both worlds! Hope you get want you want man! I miss by Bongo 6, was a great bass!
  15. @BassBeast - Finding someone out there with the exact bass you want, who wants the exact bass you have is - at best - slim odds! Why not sell the bass, or at least list it for sale (here is a good place to do so!) then with the cash you'll be in a FAR better position to negotiate the purchase of a pre-owned Stingray with anyone selling one. Just my two cents! (Great colour on your Bongo by the way!)
  16. Depending on your financial situation, it's the most cost effective way to introduce someone to an instrument. All the ancillary bits and pieces can be bought from the music shop (strings, straps, bags, plecs etc) and once the new starter has decided they do indeed want to pursue playing an instrument then they can go and buy a new bass that meets their needs and wants as and when they're ready to progress. Getting someone playing an instrument, by any means, is beneficial for music shops. Even if that first instrument isn't bought from them but uses their help and advice to make an informed decision within the second hand market. The new player is far more likely to return to a shop that helped them in the early stages of their playing - we do similar in the motor industry. Capture the customer for the long game. It absolutely works, and works very well. 👍
  17. Schecter make perfectly good basses - certainly nothing wrong with it for a first bass, but depending on you daughters age/size a 34" scale bass might be a stretch and end up putting her off. Best advice... take her to a decent guitar shop that has a selection of basses, try some out, find one she likes, then go buy it second hand. If she doesn't gel with it, you can always sell it and not loose a bunch of money.
  18. @ymdtzx - is this now a resolved issue? Did you get the bass back or your money back?
  19. Another reason to curse Břêxïť!!! A stunning bass sir!
  20. Wise maneuver sir. Treat yourself to something better and less marred by issues when you get your dosh back!
  21. That's been on eBay for years. If anyone pays even 25% of that, they've been robbed.
  22. Most sellers are open to negotiation. The ACG, STR and Brubaker would all be twice the asking price if bought new, if not more. There's a nice 5 string Overwater too which is probably £1500 at least less than the 'new' price. Gotsta buy what's right for you! For me, personally, a bit of negotiation with a keen seller often nets you a great deal!
  23. @ReeV0 - I'd really recommend buying second hand. You'll get either twice the bass for the same money, or the same bass for half the money. If you then decide you've made the wrong choice you can just sell the bass on, probably break even and buy something else! Ive been doing it for YEARS and still love playing a new bass which may or may not end up being kept! Loads of great second hand basses on here... Two good options mentioned above. Also worth looking at the Brubaker NBS1 5 string for sale (no affiliation to me).
  24. A free bump along with a picture of mine! Genuinely excellent basses...
