    I defretted my Yamaha 5 string about a year ago, it'll never get used out the house (for the forseeable future) but I love playing it and will never sell it. I don't play it enough though..

    I borrowed tonyf's ASATs last week whilst he was on holiday. He has a solid and a hollow, there was a difference between them, but nothing that jumped out and smacked me in between the eyes..

    Wow, I've thankfully never encountered service as bad as some of these examples. The worst I've had is having to hunt down staff to ask to try something..

    You sure that's a Proline ? I thought they had flamed maple tops. That looks like ash to me making it a standard ash model.

    There must be something about Celinders i'm not aware of - they do seem VERY expensive to me.. but they do seem to sell.

    Shops mark up 'every day' items like strings to a horrendous amount. I could pay £29.99 for a set of standard rotos in a shop.. or £12 online.
