    I very rarely do, but I would reduce the mids by using the contour knob. Everything is nicely controlled.

    Yep, if you're happy plugging straight in that'll work.

    The ID4 only has one mic input, I think. The other is a jack input. I went with the EVO 4 in the end. I can't fault it performance-wise, but I do miss the form factor and build quality of the Focusrite stuff.

    I suspect there would be legal reasons why he couldn't do that, and it doubt it would scratch his itch anyway.

    I think he's tried that route already. I can understand his frustrations, and why he feels like he has to howl at the moon. That's his style.

    Post-Roger, Echoes has High Hopes on it which is up there with the greatest Floyd stuff (IMO). The rest of it is a bit meh. Keep Talking was OK.

    Hmmm... I really can't equate either of the 3 post-Rog albums with anything before (not even The Final Cut). With a couple of exceptions, the songwriting just isn't there.

    I hear what you're saying about Rush, but I reckon Rog still sings it wonderfully. And at least he didn't allow a slap solo in the middle of it 😄

    His last album was very well received, sold well, and he's touring massive boundary-pushing shows around the world to hundreds of thousands of fans. I'm not sure he has credibility issues (apart from with the people he jabs his pointy stick at).

    I appreciate Roger is worth squillions of quid, and has made a number of silly decisions over the years, but I can understand why he's a little frustrated at the moment.

    And just because, here's Roger's version of Mother, which he feels should get a mention on the official PF channels. (For bonus points, PF's touring keys player is on it, too.)
