I think Gerry and the Pacemakers had an album out last year, too. (I know. What I mean is that he's not new any more, so there's less excitement about him.)

There was quite a few threads about him back in the day. Possibly a bit old hat now.

Yep, it seems to have pretty limited application. It might be handy for any Mesa Walkabout owners out there, though!

I also looked at the Lakin stuff back in the days, but IMO it was overpriced and there weren't enough options. And then there was the headstock...

FWIW, you'll not find me knocking Lakland. I've got a lot of respect for them.

[/quote] FWIW, I investigated getting a US Lakland just over a year ago. They were extremely expensive then, and that was for a stock item. The mind boggles what the cost would be for a custom.
