  1. Nice work 👍
  2. Happy to kick off a feedback thread for @mjet260 I bought some old TE brochures/instructions from Michael for a ridiculously low price (basically the price of postage). Great communication and items exactly as described. Many thanks again
  3. I bought this a couple of months back on a bit of a whim as they seem to be as rare as hens teeth. It's a great amp but the reality is that once the pubs have opened up again I'm going to be gigging very, very rarely and as I already have far too many amps to choose from I'm moving this and some other gear on at the same price I paid for it. Here are the specs: Amp Type: Tube Preamp & Class D Power Amp Chassis Material: Aluminium Preamp Tubes: 1x Mesa 12AT7 Power Amp Power Devices: Class D Power Amp Wattage(s) Quick Reference: 800 Watts @ 4 or 2 Ohms / 400 Watts @ 8 Ohms Power Amp Details: Light-Weight, Compact Class D Power Amp with Variable Damping Control, Protection, Limit & 2-Ohm Load LED Indicators Convection or Fan Cooling: Fan Cooled Instrument Input Options: 1x 1/4" with Active/Passive Switch Preamp Details: 2-Stage Class-A Preamp featuring Input Gain with Clip Indicator (O/D LED), Variable High-Pass Filter (25Hz-125Hz), Fully Active 5-Band EQ (+/- 12dB) featuring Bass, Treble and a selectable/bypassable 3-Band Semi-Parametric EQ Sweepable from 80Hz-1KHz, 150Hz-2.5KHz & 300Hz-5KHz respectively, Passive Mid Control & Master Volume Effects Loop: Fully Buffered Series FX Loop Direct Line Output (DI): Balanced XLR Out with Pre/Post, Line/Mic & Ground Lift Switches Tuner Output / Mute: Tuner Output (back panel) with Play/Mute Switch (front panel) and External Mute Switching Jack (back panel) - See "Footswitch" in the Accessories Section for additional options External Switching Jack Options: External Switching Jack for Parametric EQ & Mute (Footswitch Sold Separately) Speaker Outputs: 2 - Speakon Output Jacks (no 1/4" speaker jacks) - 8, 4 or 2 Ohms Headphone Output: Yes Extra Amplifier Features: USB Power Outlet, Headphone Output and Auxiliary Input Slip Cover: Included - Gig Bag with Shoulder Strap Weight & Dimensions Weight: 7 Lbs. Height: 4" Width: 12" Depth: 11.375" As you can see from the photos it really is in superb condition. £900 price includes shipping to GB (UK buyers only please) or you can collect as soon as you like whilst strictly observing social distancing for £880. No trades thanks - unless you happen to have a Status Vintage GP Artist with a P neck. 😁
  4. Just received a footswitch from Martyn. Item exactly as described, promptly shipped and well packed. Many thanks
  5. It may come to that. The latest Guy Pratt lock down instalment hasn’t helped! 🤣
  6. Stunning bass. 😍 What’s the nut width on this beauty please?
  7. Oh dear. A 'Vintage' brand body at best. How do these people sleep at night? ☹️
  8. Meddle is a fine album. In fact Fearless is possibly my fave PF track (runs and hides ).
  9. Congratulations. Great basses, I had one in the same colour. Just needs a black plate! 😎
  10. Yes I’m aware of that (my CW build has been delayed by the Covid shutdown). I was just curious to hear of other members thoughts on the GP model(s).
  11. Agreed. Very interesting, funny and quite shocking in places!
  12. Many thanks. Very nice too 😍 The Status web site lists 2 different models (standard and artist), but the price list only shows the artist variety.
  13. Thanks @Happy Jack. So I take it that was the GP Standard as opposed to the GP Artist (the artist is listed as having an 18v active pre)?
  14. That's what I'm torn between at the moment. I had a Stingray with a Status neck a few years back and that was great. Then a few weeks back I saw the stealth P that @walshy had put together which looked stunning (he beat me to it otherwise I'd have bought the neck off here). I'm just curious what the semi-solid body and electronics bring to the party on the Vintage GP. I believe an active/passive switch can be fitted as a custom option.
  15. Ah yes, the dungarees, the hair! How could I forget. 😂
  16. I’ll look that up, thanks. 👍 Just to clarify, the Status that I have incoming is a CW signature model but I find myself thinking that a GP Vintage would also be a nice addition for when a more traditional look is required. 😁
  17. I have a Status incoming soon (hopefully soon 🤞) but while I've been perusing the Status site I've become rather fond of the Vintage Gp Artist model (with the P neck option for me of course). I can find very little information/reviews/comments online about them other than a few snippets of Guy Pratt playing his. Has anyone here had one or have one and if so what were your thoughts? Cheers
  18. Me too 😧 Amazing value
  19. Like buses these old Fenders...... 😂 GLWTS
  20. Quite sad that he's having public rant about this really. I thought they'd kissed and made up (as much as they were going to do) and they were all going to coexist happily ever after. He does have a point about the Polly Samson content though. 🙄
  21. That’s answered that one for me then 🙄. Congrats to the new owner.
  22. Hi @jay42 IMHO the AH600 will give you more power than you'll ever need so unless you are wanting to run a stereo rig or play stadia without PA support, the AH1200 will give you nothing more than an extra 5kg to carry around (17kg for the AH600 vs 22kg for the AH1200).
  23. Oh my goodness... 😵
