A solid 20% had an 'excellent' knowledge of theory and didn't feel they needed more (some used it some didn't). The majority (58.1%) knew 'very little' or 'some' theory but wanted to know a lot more. 15% knew 'some' theory but didn't feel a need to know more, so, presumably they were happy. Only 5.7% knew 'very little' or 'none' and were happy with that situation.

The question would be over whether the seller actually has such a rare bass but the feedback is excellent.

Possibilites: 1 Slip a thin bit of card at the G string end under the bridge and above the piezo, or maybe below the piezo. 2 Cut the bridge into two halves between the A string and D string. 3 Cut the bridge into four pieces, one for each string. 4 Some combination of those three.

They both appear to have 1963 pot codes - at Guitar Dater Project that is.

At the nut, standard Jazz width is 1.5" (38mm), standard Precision width was 1.75" (44mm) but changed, sometime in late 1960's I think, to 1.625" (41mm). My '62 reissue is 1.75". I like the wider nut but a lot of people don't - hence Nigel's passport comment. You need to try one. On fingerboard radius, the higher the number then the flatter the fingerboard, the lower the number the more curved the fingerboard.
