    For sale £170 posted, or collection, or local Brighton meet up. It's a ten watt amp into 8 ohms , or a pre-amp to feed into a power amp, or into an active speaker, or it can be a DI. It's also a headphone amp and you can mix your bass signal with an auxiliary line input. You can switch bewen passive and active inputs and there's a built-in compressor, plus 5-band EQ. It will also run off two 9-volt batteries, if you're so inclined. It might do other things too but I can't recall what they are. In jolly good condtion, having been used only at home. However, as you can see in the underside photo the little rubber feet are starting to move around a little. Included are the original PJB 18-volt power supply, the original carry-case, and the original owner's manual, as well as the Bass Buddy itself.

    Definitely looks like the creaminess of olympic white. Arctic white is not creamy at all. It's more of a brilliant snowblind white.

    I read the discussion above and felt it didn't give a full picture of what strings are, or may be, needed for this style of bass. Short-scale Hofner Violin and Club basses, and copies there of, often require medium scale strings to allow for the distance from floating bridge to trapeze tailpiece. Maybe that's not an issue on the Harley Benton Violin bass, I don't know for sure. But the OP deserves to hear all the possibilities.
