1. I've just had a reply from the guy. Seems he bought it as a 72 Fender without the neck plate. He ackowledges that he bought the neck plate for it and he says he'll withdraw it. Sounds genuine enough as his feedback would suggest. Peter
2. Hehe, My Warmoth flew here from the States and was then put on the next flight back! It's done more airmiles than I have! I'm looking forward to the review. Peter
3. I would consider trades for this bass, particularly an early 90's NT Thumb 4 or 5 Peter
4.
and the lack of furnishings (and probably people ).
I'll move around a lot
5. Methinks it's nowhere near THAT bad. Peter
6. Yes I agree Dave it CAN be done but for me it'll be a one way trip Peter
7. I'm really glad you have transformed the DD Alan, will you be gigging the beast tomorrow night? Did I mention that Alan (of ACG) is presently routing my Warmoth P for a Darkstar pup? It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the Wizard Thumper that came out but it's a one way trip Peter
8. Cya there Alan, I need a couple a beers! Peter
9. Due to unforseen circumstances this great bass is up for sale again. Peter
10. That's a beautiful looking Warmoth there Nick. I can attest to the really high quality of Warmoth having built one myself and the necks are super stable and very comfy too. Peter
11. Is the shape of the headstock meant to represent something? Peter
12. I've just had my Warmoth P routed to fit in a Darkstar pickup. Not that there was anything wrong with the Wizard Thumper that came out but I'm curious to see what all the Darkstar fuss is about This is a one way trip so I have a really nice Wizard Thumper doing nothing here if anyone wants to make an offer. Peter
13. The exchange rate is right at the mo too. I ordered on the phone and the guys really know what they're about. The neck/body fit on my 54 P/Jazz neck is spot on. Necks (even the jazz) are a little 'clubby' but very playable imo. Peter
14. Extremely nice Peter
15. I suspect that my Avatar bass, the Chris Squire Ric that now has the correct case is valued at £2.2k+ and much the same for my new C64S 4001. But it's immaterial really, if you pardon the pun Peter
16. Sold pending the usual. Peter
17.
I read the topic title as "Felching T-Shirt"...
I am glad it wasn't just me then
18. Congratulations John I hope the Sterling went to a good home An old Warwick could find its way into my heart. There's a Marcus Miller I'd dearly love back but seeing I sold it to a 16 yr old 2 yrs ago I suspect it's been battered a bit Peter
19. Thanks Steve, appreciated Peter
20.
A more likely result is to end up being a 'worthless woman's' sex object ...
There's good in all people, and I'm not looking for marriage Peter
21.
I thought Townsend came across as honest and down-to-earth.
+1, it just goes to show how we see others in relation to ourself I suppose.
22. Hiya and thank you. I'm looking at £800 including delivery costs (UK). Peter
23.
worthless
I aspire to be some woman's 'worthless' sex object
24. I thought I'd have another go at offering my Jazz up for grabs. I bought this bass in November last year and it has only been played for about 30 minutes. I love the bass but I could do with parting with a couple to help with Uni finance and this bass is probably the most saleable. To start off with, the pre-amp failed and has been replaced professionally and transparently by Thomann. It has no 'quality issues' at all. It's in Butterscotch blonde and the spec's are below. The top of the headstock has had a slight biff as per the photos and no it wasn't me "[b]Our upgraded American Deluxe Jazz Bass Ash guitar captures the spirit of Fender innovation with its three-band active EQ, pair of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups and 18-volt power supply. 25.
I can't see my bass at the back
It might be that like mine it's in one of Alan's 'special' drawers. All the best one's make the drawers Peter
