Hi all, I have for sale a Trace Elliot AH400SMX bass head. Trace Elliot 1048 4x10 bass cab. Soon an EBS TD650 head, and will possibly sell my Yamaha AW2816 digital recording setup. Offers on these.. I want £400 for the AH400SMX, and £200 for the 1048. Open to offers within reason, and could combine. They're located in Blackpool, although I live in Manchester currently. So pickup is possible from either place. Postage on the head is possible. All in superb condition. Head is very tidy, slight mark on the front panel, and a little tiny bit of wear in places... very tidy though. Works, purely flawlessly!! Stunning in function, really great!! Cab is very tidy again, couple of marks etc, very nice though. Thanks very much! Matt I don't have any close ups yet of the 1048 cabinet, however its in high/good average condition. Very good condition if i'm honest! The 1153 cab in the photos, I sold some time ago.

Wow, the Aggie/Eden setup sounds phenomenal! Shame no trades, my limited edition LittleMarkII in flightcase and DTR2000 is up for grabs, as I want something larger such as this. Money your way etc. Hmmm...

Ahh, very interesting! Thanks! Well, I have the options of a 400, 550, or an 800 at the moment. Tempted to go for the 550 however, as I have two 4ohm cabs to run. That's the main thing, and also at 4ohm load, the output is a good match for my standalone Accugroove. Perhaps I should try different tubes in whichever I get, and see which works best. I've never really tried in previous valve pre's I've had. Thanks again! Matt

What Smith are you eyeing up Stew? I'm lucky to have the best of both worlds, each are great in their own right. I'd never tried a modern smith, only tried a friends BT6 at his house. Lots of research, and listening to Mel Davis... I absolutely love it! They're definitely as good as people say, and the price tag! Quality is beyond words! I wouldn't say I favour either, Overwaters are phenomenal basses! However, going for a Smith, you reallly cannot go wrong!!!! You'll love it! I've always, always wanted a Smith, and absolutely love it!!!!!!! Mines currently doing the season in the Blackpool Tower Circus! Good luck, you'll love it!!!!! Matt
