If you make a mistake, look at the guitarist, drummer or vocalist. It was definitely their fault. -

Good P Bass option that doesn't weigh a ton?

Look for basses made with Poplar, Nato or Swamp Ash has these tend to be lighter than Alder, Basswood and Mahogany. -
Good for you. I have a Polytune and my only other pedal need is a low gain OD with EQ options. To have a DI on that would be a bonus hence why the Tech 21 VT Bass covers so much ground. I'm going to stick with that.

Sounds great but no DI so I'll have to stick with the VT Bass.

One. I've never broken a bass string in 20 years of playing.

More suited for the A string but the fix is simple - don't cut your A when installing new strings. The extra wraps help push the string down to get the angle needed at the nut.

I would agree with Danny - I still have the Blueberry but found the Spark Booster to have more definition for want of a better word. It does the low gain valve thing very well.

Been a Jazz player for the last 15 years. Recently purchased a Precision and loving it. Had rehearsal last week and I was really struggling with the EQ to get a decent tone. No note definition, just lots of boom. Any tips?

It's much easier to convey information via text or e-mail than over the phone. Honestly, would you remember names, addresses, phone numbers, dates, times, venues, load in requirements, etc. off the top of your head?

He was 21 when their debut album came out. Such mature and timeless playing for someone so young. RIP.
