1. Bloody nice this, I had an unlined overwater fretless a few years back, sounded sooo nice! Would have been intrested in this if.... 1) It had one string less 2) I hadn't just bought an old Ibanez fretless 3) I had some money Good luck with the sale Tony
2. just sat here reading this with my sei jazz on my knee, trying to cook up a line for a low-fi loop i've got sat in pro tools, that neck has threw me, so time to stop Looking good, the headstock is unusual, great idea though Gonna be putting a J-retro in mine soon, not really into the bart pre that is installed, but the bart pre is probably the least harsh pre I've heard! T-rex

Noticed a few T-rex bass pedals becoming more numerous on evil bay, the chorus for example is fairly expensive, so has anyone tried any of these, or owned one Not looking to buy, just curious, as a search on this forum does not throw up any results, which is unusual as there are bass specific pedals in the range Tony
4. it was one of a pair for PT, I have the fretted Jazz, they were the first J basses that were made by Sei from what I understand T
5. Not my bag, but what a stunning bass! Tony
6. Might as well add to this as well as this thread is turning into a right old jerk off! I've had one of these for years, but 2 weeks back, due to a room rearrangement, took an angle grinder to the frame and made it less deep, probably reduced depth by around 200mm which made a big difference, also took the upright bits down so level with the shelf, which sits just above my Digi 002, now looks less imposing in a room and accomodates my pro tools set up in a very sexy way Someone should buy it! T
7. No problem, thanks for the explanation, being a frequent traveller myself, I know how it is! Hope you enjoyed your cup of tea Cheers Tony
8. Thanks for the info, would have been nice to have known that, been waiting for the post most days this week T
9. If anyone knows this guy ask him to send my pedals or at least log on and reply to my PM T

11. A glowing blue ring ehh! Blue ring bump T
12. So I just ordered me a leopard, LE 8 next, any G5 users on here who can help me with a few questions, cos all this mac stuff is still a bit foreign! T
13. Want myself an overdrive distorion, don't do the full on fuzzy mess thing, had a blowtorch before and liked its smooth, almost synth like sound, but theres a DHA VT1 EQ Bass Drive Custom for sale down in the effects section, could that be an alternative, never heard one, hoping one of you guys will help me here T
14. I just spent some money! Used Digi 002, with pro tools 6.3 Used dual 1.8ghz G5, the price of these shocked me, lower spec machines than the one I found are hitting £500!! This G5 had 3.5ghz RAM, two HD's, the OS is on a 350 gig HD, the second drive is 80 gig. Will probably replace the second HD with something bigger. Next step is to get Leopard on the Mac, the Pro tools 8 LE Tony

16. Not aware of an effects unit that would do sucha thing, maybe the only way would be GK p/up, axon, yamaha or roland pitch to voltage converter into a synth. Lot of ££ to go that route though. The new v-bass does all that I think Tony
17. 10 10 LT sound card is sold pending the usual I will be up for trades for the desktop PC, it has been formatted with a fresh install of XP and is running sweet Intresting effects would be considered, envelope, synthy sort of things, EBS? Tony
18. Screen is gone, cracked! BSOD is from heat I reckon, happens when ruinning for a while on PSU, OK on battery, starts with small white lines in a regular pattern on the screen Plastics are broke around the screen attachment points, photo's sent by e-mail From your last posts, it looks like it will go on e-bay T
19.
Ok can you let me know the model number and the spec? Preferably the ID (should be on the base) as Toshiba make loads of different specced machines under the same model numbers Cheers Steve EDIT: Or swap for a Jim Dunlop bass wah?
Satelitte M70-144 Model No PSM71E-01400DEN ... and yes, if the Bass wah is the white one! T
20. I'll have a look tonight, you may as well take the whole laptop cos their won't be much left once I've took all them things out T
21. Had a few PM's on the PC requesting spec... Motherboard - Asus A8V with on board sound Processor - AMD Athlon 64 1.80GHz RAM - 1 GB (could do with more for audio work, fine for everything else) HD - 80 gig (fairly sure this is a 7200rpm drive) Graphics card - Nvidia Geforce TI 4200 DVD drive - Asus Lightscribe Case - silver Mac style, but one of the DVD drive flaps has gone walkabout Also got various MOBO extras such as RAID leads, USB 2.0 boards, maual, driver disc Sound card as mentioned above is Delta 10-10 LT £60 for Delta 10-10 LT Buy the lot for £140. Would prefer collection as I don't like the idea of posting a PC! Away in Germany for a few days (from Monday 12/1/09) some may be slow to reply to PM's Tony
22.
Last time I looked SZ was playing Gibson Les Paul basses...
He may be, that photo was from 2007 I think, but whatever he hads been playing for the last few years is a loooong way from his Warwick sig! Maybe he'll be saving the warwick for something else he's got going on as has already been suggested! T
23. Found it, it sold for £1500 Item no. 220337141310 T
24. Lush! I don't do basses outside of what one would consider to be the norm, but the Buzzrad is the exception! along with Overwater C bass! Buy one! There was one on E-bay a few weeks back, try a completed listings search T
