1. That Ibanez looks like a good option, I think I will try it next My bag does get hammered, and like I said earlier, leaving pointy strap locks on doesn't help Tony
2.
The Mono??!!
I meant double gig bags, not the mono! Strap locks left on your bass don't help, as I found out!
3. I use these a lot! On second one in twelve months, both had the stiching go that holds the zip on the bottom the bag where most of the weight is have always carried 2 jazz basses Warwick deluxe bag lasted a good while, then got a fender bag and the stitching has now started to go I need a good bag! 4. Hi Is anyone going to be moving between the Manchester area (or anywhere near) and south coast area in the next week? Have a cab that could do with travelling further south to help it's new owner collect it, it is fully flight cased as well! It needs to get from manchester to Andover, but anywhere near to any of these locations mean that I or the new owner can drop off and collect Any help would be appreciated Cheers Tony
5. Am I right in thinking, this will not drive 8 ohm cabs, the impedance switch I'd for 2 & 4 ohms? I like the idea of this, would be great for gigs with my 2 x 8 ohm 4x10's, but most rehearsals are dine with one cab! Tony
6. Would trade for all valve head. Preferaby Mesa 400+ with cash adjustment
7. Bump Can supply this with a full flight case if required Tony
8. Probably the best fretless out there, I had a five, wish I could justify this! Tony

10. Tried a GT200 today, at low volume, very impressed Funds wont allow it right now, but who knows! Tony
11. They are indeed nice cabs! The amp belongs to my guitarist, it's the 50 watt version!!! Gonna run this whilst I try a few different heads, leaning towards a 400+, but got a few others to try over the next few weeks. It is a nice sound, wish I could crank it up a bit, but the neighbours don't seem to wanna go out tonight! So far it's had my 2 Jazzes (fretted and fretless) thru it, also my Sterling, still got the P bass and Starfire to try yet :-) Tony
12. 2 new cabs got collected this morning, so borrowed a little valve head to give them a run! Lets just say, this is a bit loud, O M G !!! Bad picture from iphone

20. Played a gig last night, didn't use my backline, used the bass rig of the next band it was a 4x10 with a fender baseman head. Got loads of comments about my bass sound! All were very good, the key ones being "that is the sound for this band" the rig lacked headroom as we are loud, butit did growl! I use an ebs td650, known for it's high end, accurate sound, so maybe it's time to change! I was already thinking of aggie db750, will that do it? Maybe stay with ebs and go for a fafner? Recomendations please!!! Tony
21. I have an EBS TD 650, feeling like a change, so could be up for a trade with an Aggie DB750 with cash adjustment May consider selling if a DB750 is available at the right price Cheers Tony
