They look amazing, they probably play amazing, if I turned up at a rehearsal with one, my band would get together and hurt me! T

Yeah, Steve Curtis is good, always busy Ged Green is good also, he has done a few jobs for me I know of another guy who has been in spain for a while, he may be back in the UK soon, he is very good, I think Ged Green took over a lot of his work a few years back. I'll get more info on this when I can Tony

I like loopers for several reasons, they take tone sucking pedals out of the loop and allow you stick stuff anywhere you want on your board with the option to set two or more pedals to switch at the same time But! there is you basic wired loop pedal, some are better made than others, then you get the Gig Rig pedal which uses relays for switching. The reason given is for purity of signal and silent switching. They cost a bit more, but are they worth it? GigRig guys do some red hot stuff, so i guess they know what they are talking about! Opinions? Tony

All done! All I can say is amazing! The bass sounds so much more crisp and lively! and the mid sweep gives a good increase in tones available! Tony

A while back I bought a 4 knob 3 band east pre for my stingray off basschat I had no instalation instructions but I knew they were on the East site in pdf format MMSR4K I just wanna make sure I've got this right before I get the soldering iron out! On my old pre, I have the following... Black and white wires from the p/up 2 blacks and a red coming from the battery box to the jack socket red, black and white from the jack socket / battery box to the original circuit board On the new pre amp, I have the following Red, green and orange from the mid circuit board And I have two points on the other circuit board to which I can attach the p/ups So the p/ups is an easy one! From the PDF, the wires off the mid sweep board are as follows Red - 9-18 v +ve - this is linked on the mid sweep board to provide power to the main pre amp board. I am assuming this connects to the red from the jack/battery Orange - Output, this should go to the tip of the jack socket (white from the jack/battery) Green - Ground (black from the jack/battery) It has become more apparent whilst typing this, I could have done with colours on the pdf even though I am colour blind lol! Anyone else fitted one of these? Tony

Never tried one, but our guitarist uses it. JDI was mentioned earlier, this is the exact one if you want all the valvey goodness from the power stage I guess Radial JDX Anyone else used one? Tony -
Not doing it for me! Like Lakland jazzes, great style, but these look like a shot at the classy, boutique style market? But! that could just be down to my approach to basses these days, which is solid colours rather than grainy wood stained in nice colours Tony

I agree on the BSW, for the price it's good, the octave setting on it's own is good. worth it just for that EHX bass micro synth with exp pedal mod is worth a look I use a nice fdistortion through a wah and with an EBS octa bass. Some distortions are better than others though, get something, nice thick and creamy, oooh errr! Not tried the mark bass, I think there was one for sale not long ago in the market place Shep, that is some board, insane man, the moog hook up looks cool, spent some time checking it all out last night, but too extreme for me Tony

Cool colour, but I would say that, being the owner of a CS jazz in the same. Tempted on a white pick gaurd, looks cool! Your should try a tort', like mine T

This is without doubt the best sig' bass warwick make, I think this is a mkII version, not sure, his sig' bass has been around for a while A streamer jazzzman on steroids, great bass and no doubt it will sound amaziing, but a big price tag too, one to hunt for in the US as i reckon they will be as rare as rocking horse dung here so will be top $$

Badass III What could be easier! Not the easiest part to find these days, but easy to fit! So off with the bent piece of tin, Fender call a bridge! In it's naked glory..... To be continued......

My band is in the process of recording tracks for an EP and ultimatley an album next year One track that came together really quick, is the only cover that we will be recording, this is Laser Love an old T-rex album track that you may or may not know Laser Love Not finished yet, but near enough to be online for a few days! Probably going to redo the bass part as it all got changed during the few hours I was recording, plus I played it with a pick, which ain't something I do a lot of! Play it loud! Tony
