1. That is really nice, never seen one with the stripes before! Tony
2. On the odd occasion we do a covers set, it's the start of Babba O'reily, the guitarist does some loopy stuff to get the intro, then the big F C Bflat bit a few times round, hit the F one more time, hold it a while, guitarist reverses the loop, hold it a bit longer, quick count in by the drummer, into My Generation, seems to work well!
3. Not had chance to see this yet! 1993 saw Emergancy on Planet earth come out, great album, 17+ years in the business, they must be doing something right! No doubt this one will sell a load as well, but I doubt he will top the sales of earlier albums, still manage to put a heap of money in the bank though. What do we know, we're just bass players lol
4. ......even when your head falls off!
5. I always groove, love it, nothing better than playing live! T

7. You may, or you may not have seen the kitesurf shots I put up in the off topic area that were done with a GoPro camera in a waterproof housing, this is what happens when you take it out of its housing and stick it on a bass bin at a gig! I was having fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeqWrHqhoRo T

13. First practice tonight, with my band, after a summer break, new rig for me, what a difference, positive comments all night, made such a big difference, really suits our sound, we were loud tonight and it onlly went just over a quarter! How loud is this thing? Only one of my 4x10 was used as well Here's an arty shot from tonight, with my seafoam green fender CS shop jazz, my LP Blue fretless also got an airing! 15. I got a CS classic jazz, nitro sea foam green finish, I play the crap out of it so hoping it's gonna look like it's been played some day! Tony
16. "future classics" would have been a better title! Which basses being made today are we going to look at in the same way we do a '62 or '75 jazz, to name but a few, in thirty years time! Tony
17. I always look forward to it and always enjoy it Most of our gigs are playing origanil material, but every now and then we'll put out for a pub gig and play some covers Some times you get that feeling when the whole thing wasnt as tight as what it could be, or the sound wasnt just right, we know the venues where it is always gonna be great round Manchester and we also know those where it can be hit and miss We get to play with some great bands and we have a few guys play with us on occasion (for a few tracks) that give me a real buzz I love playing live, cant beat it and you never know whats around the corner, what you are going to get offered! I played my first live gig in 1980 I think, was 14 and I was playing in punk bands, funk bands and even the local youth jazz band, lots of gigs, lots of fun and a great way to learn! We've just had a break over the summer, back at it tomorrow night, two rehearsals then a gig at Joshua Brooks in manchester, part of Freshers week I think lol. Then between now and xmas, we are supporting both Sham 69 and flock of Seaguls (scary hair!) amongst other things! Lots to look forward too and lots too enjoy Tony

21. My recent experience with moving from a 650 watt head to a 200 watt all valve head suggests this 90 watts would be plenty!
