Gallien Krueger Neo 2x12 for trade (possibly sale)
Adee replied to Forcemaster's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Close to you actually! I live in Burton Latimer nr Kettering, Northamptonshire. Anyone is more than welcome to have a try.
I thought I recognised your gear, I saw you play at the White Hart in Corby with Aberration, my daughter Zoe was their original bassist YOU were very good it just a shame that the two guitarists can't us a little self restraint ! They were painfully loud and they alway have been ! I've got a Markbass 4x10 HF cab at the moment and find it a bit big for what I'm doing. Are you sorted with a new cab or it it something you might want to try? Cheers Ade -
Then there's the mechanics of screwdriver verses scratchable finish on bass....
You are assuming that a screwdriver was actually used it would normally be a knife from the cutlery drawer in my house !

Yip Mart is a top bloke if you can get a word in edgeways ! Coffee, chat and bass = what more could you want ! The Lakland was a top bass, just as Mart described it ! Ade

DEMO OF THE VT PEDAL Tech 21 blurb . . . . The tower of power pumping through a stack of 10-inchers is the legendary bass tone for players who enjoy being heard. From chunky funk with the ubiquitous flip top, to the higher gain growl of indie rock. Still need more? Lean on the Character control for the fat distortion of Crimson and King’s X. It all sounds massive DI. Clean SVT® thump to dirty earthquaking rump, you dial it in.

Like you said the basic 'machine' is very good, that along with classic P look, but added to the wide tonal range its an excellent bass for someone who would like a variety of tones from a P-Bass Sat and played it last night and I wish I could afford to keep it ! . . . . and at this price its a hoofing bargain too missus
Before you knock it or if you want to see what it sounds like then try it (with Adees agreement of course). If you want a standard Bob Glaub then just buy one.
Around £889 will buy you a new one at GAK or Thomann ! This one is £475 with £200 odd quids worth of Mods Thanks Peter, Anyone is welcome to try the bass, it is great, BUT as I have said I can only keep one and the Fender stays !

Theres nothing actually wrong with it, Marcus had an offer of an Amp that he couldnt refuse Mart plays classic rock so preferred his US P-Bass and I also play in a covers band and in a toss up between the Lakland and my Fender P, I decided to keep the Fender as thats what I'm used to If you want a bass with great tonal adjustment and a bass that is punchy and can 'cut through' then this is the bass for you, especially one of this quality and has classic looks too Black / Black / Maple too ! If I could justify AND afford to keep three bass guitars I would, but I just cant afford to keep it. £500 needs to go back in the bank where it actually belongs. I robbed Peter to pay Paul and now Peter wants his money back !

I have decided to sell the Lakland Bob Glaub Skyline I bought off Mart a couple of weeks ago It was either keep the Lakland and sell my USA P-Bass or 'tuther way round ! After doing 4 gigs with the Lakky I've decided I like the simplicity of the P-Bass Thats not to say there is anything wrong with the the BG the tonal range of the Villex pickup is amazing If I could afford to keep both, I would if I could . . . but I cant ! It was never an option to keep both Link to : Original for sale ad by Marcus Will accept £475 Collection from Corby, Northants or possibly meet halfway for fuel Could accept Paypal of that helps spread the cost, but you would have to help with the charges ! I also have it for sale on Ebay at £525 see link for more pix etc eBay

The bass aint for sale at £450 ! I paid £470 and it cost me £30 fuel to collect it, hence the £500 - Thats if the price I paid actually has anything to do with anyone apart from Mart and myself, thank you very much The bass has been passed from pillar to post on this forum and I thought it best to put it out of its misery on Ebay. Yes the initial price was a bit hefty but why should I give it away? I can't afford to keep it hanging around as I said before I was to sell the Fender to fund the Lakky. This is the typical Bassworld / Basschat person bashing that gives this forum a bad reputation, I actually think some you you get off on it. As for the Fralin pup, its going in my Fender P-Bass for now until I decide what I am doing with it.
