  1. I'm selling my Sennheiser MD421-II cardioid microphone. I bought it new and have used it only to test that it works. I had grand designs of mic-ing my cab but I've switched to a desktop DI set-up. It comes boxed with all of the goodies. UK postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery included in the price. I'm based in London and, if anyone wishes to buy and collect, I can throw in a cab mic stand.
  2. BOSS ES-8 added. Basically as new condition and comes with 18 Rockboard 40cm straight to angled cables for easy pedalboard use - £500

Congratulations! Please keep us updated as to how you get on with it. Well done on avoiding the wait too!

I use a MusicMan HH into it and love how crisp it is. That said, it goes through a buffer and a mains compressor beforehand too so maybe that makes a difference?
  5. The Broughton Omnicomp is well worth a look. Every setting sounds good. They went though a period of selling out in a minute or two but the last drop saw them sit around for about an hour so there may be a decent opportunity to get one on Friday next week. Just sign up for notification when it’s back in. It’s usually between 11am and midday but sometimes gets mixed up for later drops (which may include the next one). https://www.broughtonaudio.com/product-page/omnicomp
  6. Sadly they went out of stock about 45 minutes ago. That was the longest I've seen a Broughton pedal up (save for the Josh Wah and a few of the utility pedals) in a long time. The Omnicomp is up next week though and is definitely worth a look (although not as a Rat...).
  7. Also, there are still a few of these in stock. Absolutely awesome pedal: https://www.broughtonaudio.com/product-page/locust-star They usually sell out in about a minute, while at the moment there are eight left at time of posting after three hours.
  8. Space Heater and Slampegg are brand new from the latest batch (played only to test they work so I don’t serve up a lemon to someone). Selling to help fund my brother’s wedding. Fluffy Kitten and SBVT I imported a while back. Both work really well, too. Prices include postage in the UK (usually via Royal Mail Special Delivery where that method is available). I'm willing to post outside the UK if the buyer is willing to pay postage and bear any taxes/duties. Any questions or desire to see further photos of the pedals, please just message me. 10. I quite like the JAM Rattler Bass. It has a clean blend, too. The Blower Box is excellent too though. https://www.jampedals.com/rattler-bass/?gclid=CjwKCAjw14uVBhBEEiwAaufYx_xBocfI2xJ7wwGIH1nc4_gVP8B-WjbEamhwSVyO-7xNjHqcqK3KWBoCJDYQAvD_BwE
  11. Excellent run down. I’d be interested to hear how you find it over time. I’ve been sorely tempted by one of these for a long while and almost bit the bullet and ordered one from the US more than once. Jack Roan from Noble Amps recommended it so I would expect good things!
  12. Resurrecting this thread again… Has anybody heard on the grapevine whether COG will make a return? First and foremost I hope Tom and his family are okay, but as a second order point I would still be very keen to try a T-65 or a T-70, so it would be very happy news if they were to be produced again.
  13. Agh, sorry to hear that. Hopefully though this will be the start of seeing them more regularly available. I think I picked mine up in December 2020 and I’m pretty sure they didn’t sell out in five minutes. 3Leaf, Iron Ether and some other boutique builders have slowly started to put inventory out again and it looks like there are tentative signs of some of the heat coming out of the secondary pedal market, which would be a good thing all round. I wasn’t sure we’d ever see them again for a period so even small batches is a big win at this point. Plus we may see people move on the black version. Good luck on the next drop!
  14. As I mentioned in another thread, 3Leaf are seemingly back in business. There was a limited (I believe 50 or so) run of Doom 2s and Octabvres released on Sunday night, although gone in six minutes flat. Hopefully it’s a sign that the pedals will be more easily attainable again some time soon. The website states there will be a run of Protons later in summer, too and prices have even been updated for the Chromatron.

  17. They came out late last year; November I think. I agree with dudewheresmybass’ suggestion of emailing and asking when they may be back in stock though. The big UK stores give no indication but Thomann is stating 2-3 weeks.
  18. That looks great! I haven't heard of that pedal before but it's very interesting. The total opposite of the MXR Phase 90 in terms of options for a phaser. I hope you enjoy it when it arrives and I look forward to seeing the NPD post.
  19. Great pedal and rare as hen’s teeth. Good price too.
  20. I received a Triungulo Lab Malombra this morning, a chorus pedal based on the Boss CE2W (CE1 mode). It’s from the same stable as the Barbanera Moog MF-101 clone and has the same build quality and fantastic paint job. It’s surprisingly versatile as a chorus on account of being able to choose the rate, depth and the wave shape (which takes it a little way towards Barbanera territory), with the mix knob allowing the lows to be kept in. I don’t usually do NPDs but I haven’t really seen any for this so thought I’d do it in case anyone was curious about it.
  21. *PRICE DROP* I'm offering my Shift-line Buzz A+ v.2 Bass Drive for £150 posted in the UK. It comes boxed and is in fantastic condition. Some of the pictures show white spots of dust that I only noticed once I'd loaded the pictures onto my computer. The folks behind this pedal made the Shift-line Olympic MkIIIS and definitely know a thing or two about making pedals. They are extremely difficult to get hold of (as I found out) as they were available from St. Petersburg and now, if they appear all, they appear to be coming from Kazakhstan. I've been A/Bing my gain stage options and decided to stick with my MBD2 as that gets me closer to the sound in my head. As always, please let me know if you would like any demos; it's almost worth asking just to hear the poor quality of my playing. Ask for pick playing if you want a real laugh. As per the web page: "Bass and distortion go hand in hand — at least, that's what we believe, and many bass players seem to agree. The A+ Buzz has found its place in bass pedalboards all over the world, and now it's time for a new and improved revision: the Buzz V.2 bass drive. The new version builds up on what made the Buzz so popular. The strong core sound, great dynamic response, and simple controls with a wide sweet spot are all present in the Buzz V.2 — but now they are joined by an improved EQ section along with separate volume controls for the dry and distorted signal. And due to the top-mounted jacks, it's now even easier to fit into your pedalboard!"
