    Lets be honest the cab design and switching etc are a bit... gimmicky at best but if I'd been offered a 'new' BFO cabinet for £120 when I was starting out I'd have been deaf with a hernia by the age of 20! Especially if I'd bought 2 of them to get 4 ohms (which I would).

    OK it is 120w not 50 but I am happy to gig my Handbox with a very loud guitarist and drummer! As has been mentioned, speaker sensitivity is way better than it used to be.

    Terror Bass are valve preamp but class D power; not technically a valve bass head... or are there full valve 'Terror' heads?

    Not 100% correct. I had to claim through Interparcel for a bass damaged by UPS; Interparcel settled the claim pretty quick after I supplied evidence.

    Oddly enough I've compared booking couriers direct and through 3rd party companies... 3rd party is always cheaper. UPS through Interparcel is/was 40% cheaper than direct with UPS! I think it is something to do with bulk ordering/delivery.

    Peace of mind.... strange take on the term. If a £1000 instrument disappears or is broken, you (or the buyer) are £1000 + £20 postage out of pocket.

    You haven't added insurance premium (wasted on PF as they won't honour it in T&C). I sold a £1000 bass on ebay and thought £50 would be more than enough... £80 with insurance cover.

    I even have a contact (Walshy) who knows a man with van that can do very reasonable cost delivery.

    I feel your pain... I had 6 amps and I'm down to 4. However, I still found myself looking at other amps today! LOL

    I'm sure it is a mistake but it made me smile that he says cash on collection only... and emphasises UK buyers only! Like someone from Europe is not allowed to come over here and buy the case. I think saying 'Collection Only' would have sufficed.

    Cheers for the clarification David. I had one of these many moons ago (yours looks so clean as to be new) and memory was letting me down re string anchoring.
