1. Is it the correct headstock (ie neck) but with a refinished body? Just looks to me (not that I've seen that many MM Jazz basses) that the headstock decals and MM sig look about right!
 2. Woo Hoo I was in before the lock!
 3. As I see it; the right seller, the right item, the right price with the right buyer looking = sale... simples! If any of the above are missing from the OPers sale thread then you get no sale! Heaven knows I'm sitting with cash burning a hole in my pocket for the right bass (MM/EB Sterling in sunburst in case you were wondering) but unfortunately a Schecter isn't going to float my boat. Take a chill pill and stop shouting.
 4.
Hi, I've just bought a Sterling so If you still have the case I'd love it, how much would you want, including 2nd class postage to London?? Cheers
You + 2 other interested parties have PM'd me in the space of 30mins... lots of people buying Sterlings without cases it would seem. Fairest if I deal with this in the order the messages/postings arrived... unless someone wants to sell me their Sterling instead!
 5. Something niggling away in my memory banks about this one! Safe to say a truss rod costs next to nowt (even if you get one from Warwick), which begs the question why hasn't one of the previous owners of this bass had it repaired... especially as it is so easy to do! Thinking about it, I'm sure that one of the owners of this bass asked questions about the truss rod over on the Warwick forum and if they haven't had it fixed then safe to say it's stuck and may well need the fingerboard off (or a replacement neck).
 6. Listing pulled!
 7.
im wondering Marks views on (for example) half way through payments, someone gets made redundant etc..?
You have made an agreement to pay the money, end of and tough titty! I'm sure Mark is a thoroughly nice guy but he is a businessman; you bought the item you owe the money, you don't pay the money you get taken to court... simples! There will no doubt be payment protection plans/schemes available but they don't come free.
 8. Bliddy Southerners get all the bargains!
 9.
How about £675 the lot? =) go on, you know you want to
If you were closer and we could meet/deliver, I'd take your rig at that price just to have a try at something different!
 10.
I assume they probably do all that on request.
I'd 'assume' nothing! Not that I suspect either of us will be buying it.
 11.
Hoping so mate. I really am.
I'm still lost for words every time you post Andy... I'll say again that you have the patience of a Saint!
 12.
Bump. It's just a plastic "holder" that fits around the neckplate on the back, doesn't do anything other than provide a black contrast against the White body and chrome neck plate.
I thought that's what you said!
 13.
I also added a black plastic sorround on the back neck plate, gives a bit more 'omph' I recon, maybe "phwar" is a better description.
You added what and it does what?
 14.
You can get replacement diaphragms easy enough. They are the foster type. I replaced both of my aggie DB112 horns in aroun half hour. Cost about six quid from eBay I would check the x-over for dry solder joints as I had the same problem couple of years back
You had the same problem with Aggie DB112 cabs? Hmmm are we talking common defect?
 15. re. the warranty. Unfortunately I'm the 2nd owner! I'll take the driver out and see if I can find visible evidence and/or see if I can trial a replacement tweeter to trial/test it. Cheers all.
 16. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ME:B:SS:GB:1123 Not that anyone would pay £21k for a bass and not try/collect but £30 for delivery would be a laugh!
 17. There's only one amp for the Funk... and it starts with a 'T'!
 18. Tweeter has started making some none too pleasant noises (other than the nasty noise I make when I play), is it a case of replacing the whole unit (and do I need an Aguilar part) or are there replaceable components? I'll go off and do a search on t'interweb but wondered if anyone had first hand experience!
 19. I need to source a pair of powered speakers for installation/use in my school, the budget is a max £650. I've decided to go for a pair of active 12's as they are 'probably' better suited to the environment; 10's might be found lacking to fill the Hall (not massive but medium/large) and 15's are likely to be a bit too large/heavy to be lifting off the wall mounts and storing. The cabs may also be required to act as monitors for larger school productions (my RCF system will do the FOH). Looking at Soundslive's site (my local supplier but I'm not tied to have to use them), I've narrowed it down (based on budget and 12" drivers) to the following pairs of cabs. Behringer Eurolive B412 DSP @ £641 DB Cromo 12 @ £600 HK F.A.S.T. 12 @ £649 Wharfedale Titan 12 @ £600 Has anyone any experience of any of these cabs or have I missed an obvious winner that would trump the above? The cabs would need to be purchased new so unfortunately 'used' cabs, no matter how good, are not an option! Many thanks for taking the time to respond.
 20. Rest easy Bob... I've used the bass in anger this afternoon and strung with a fresh set of DR Sunbeams it was a blinder. It may not be my perfect body shape/size (nothing is quite as dinky as a Streamer) but there's no escaping that killer tone! Hence, bass now withdrawn.
 21.
I may well get some DB112's to see if they voice for me as well..but really don't want to loose the bottom end of the GS's.
I have done an A/B between DB and GS cabs and you will not lose any bottom end if you go to DB... far from it!
What's the cheapest and the lightest combo out there? (head and cab must have an option of being separated if needed) I want something really portable. (head + lil' cab, something around 1x10) I really dig the Ibanez Promethean thing, but, 600 pounds for new.. Or am I just too naive maybe?
I think it's a case of choosing any 2 from 3 with 'lightest/cheapest/best sounding' If you want lightest + cheapest you aren't necessarily going to get the best sound available; you could however get lightest + best sounding but it won't be cheap! There is a Tecamp combo for sale on BC @ £600 which will give you a 500w 2x12 Neo that is easily transportable 'with a car' (no good for long distance public transport), I'd think that as far as light/loud/good goes, it's about the best on BC at the moment.

 23.
Sold for £1K - which is a lot of money - but compared to others amps of that price... The buyer will be a very happy camper for snagging that for what is a bargain price.
It may well be a bargain but the seller was also lucky that there was that single buyer out there prepared to pay £1000!
 24.
She weighs in at a mind boggling 11 1/4 lbs. .......... Still jealous?
At that weight is it a Hondo or a Honda?
 25. Anyone got a 4 string MM/EB Sterling in 'burst? I'll take one in trade against this PRS!
