  2. ^Great Job... I'd make sure you have a few spares for when the private messages drop...
  3. As for stripping the paint... A gloss finish can get a little grabby with a sweaty paw... Simply knocking the sheen off with a fine wet n dry, light sanding paper, or scotchbright pad can improve matters. I like the feel of unfinished wood, but not practical, and some neck manf won't g'tee unless finished. A wipe of Danish, or other type all as a minimum.
  4. 55 The Law - Screaming Blue Messiahs
  5. From Me 2 U - Chuckle Bros... Actually, i don't think it's a real song...

  7. And You And I - Yes...
  8. What colour is the body? You could always mask up the edges and go with a matt or satin black on the headstock face.. ya might have enough in a leftover rattle can kicking about...
  9. I think if you remove the hardware, and sand it a bit, it will get rid of the light area... You will prolly need to sand the surface finish off anyway for any stain to take... @TheGreek posted something a while back, wire wool in vinegar... maybe a bit of a faff n stinky! Sample size wood stain from the 'bay?..
  10. @Mykesbass fingers crossed... don't forget to update the thread wiv a pic! I was contemplating the drive!
  11. Pup looks like a Retrovibe or Warman jobbie for a Ric...
  12. @Baloney Balderdash... I thought on similar lines some time back, and raised a similar comment when @Andyjr1515 was doing @donslow Fill n Route job for PJ on his SR Body. I've got 2x Ibby GSR200 that as you know are Reverse P and J I've been after this Custom Ibby for a while, so i'm going Single P in Standard Orientation...
  13. Bridge Pins... Not sure my HBO has a wooden block tail, with saddle blade.
  14. @Chienmortbb If you are including the Zoom B1on i had off you for my Eldest's mate, works fine, with absolutely no signs of wear.. A similar moan of the Behringer BDI21.. although i think that has metal brackets underneath. I'm on the look out for a cheap Pre/DI missed the deal at Anderton's I'd be happy with a plastic Beringer BDI What do people do with these pedals, and with what footware? If they broke or cracked all the time, they would get updated or discontinued.

  16. Decals... I used this fella for a custom take on Fender... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125604139563 who is @taddy on the forum... cheeky sod has also used it as an example in his listing! 😉 Quality Job... Sent a couple of colour and outline options.

  19. Dog Days are Over - Florence and the Machine
  20. Nice... +1 on the headstock, with straighter string runs... but then they are not limited by authenticity. Colour match on the plastics, plate and pickup ring could of been better... And a Yes to Flats. Then again it could be a dream... God knows why i'm awake at half six!
  21. Mmm. Looks like the pup wire is core to wiper vol pot and screen to pot, white from vol pot to out jack... (tother end ground) Plus Bridge Ground wire, Pot Ground Link, possibly cavity ground wire... all adds up and can become cluttered... Where are you based(!) ?
  22. Wire Colours and Magnet Orientation may vary... which don't help, but if you can identify and Start Stop N S on your pickups you should be OK... If it isn't right, you can't break them....
  23. I don't mind slugs up to say, my knees... So the spoon goes down my pants
