  1. He has no preconceived ideas... I passed it to him all @ 12 o'clock, and suggested the same for the EQ on the Bass... and the same with his little practice amp - thanks to the generosity of @shoulderpet - Let him dial in what he wants, ask Q's and go again. Thats what it is all about... or is that just the Hokey Cokey?
  2. Son loves it, bit of drive, He saw someone busking on guitar at Camden, and asked him about what he was using... next i get a txt asking about a CryBaby for bass... Looking to mod my Donner Wah with a cap to make it more suitable for bass freq. Keeping him motivated and encouraging he in developing his own sound for the fretless...
  3. Welcome... loves an SR... 5 String ya say... Stay away from the FS area... It has things like this!
  4. Electronic Types... Got a Donner Wah/Vol pedal... Looks real simple inside... LEDs top L&R, Switch Middle, 9v left, Pot Ribbon R, Jacks at Bottom L&R Middle is (4 Diamond) Coil and (2) Cap A153J (2A153J... so 15nf/0.015u?) Will get the board out tomorrow and see if any value is on tother side. Looking at some CryBaby mods, can i just replace the capacitor to get it Wah-ing better for Bass? If so what value, 0.068u/68nf? - I've got a 0.047u/47nf from a tone circuit... will that do the do?
  5. Donner Convolution Jet Flanger (EHX Mistress Clone w/ Fixed Filter Switch) As New, but i have rubbed of the logo... £20 Posted UK
  6. I've a Donner Convolution Jet Flanger thats an EHX Mistress Clone with the Fixed Filter Switch, not being used... As New, but i have rubbed of the logo, and it looks the better for it! £20 Posted if ya interested?
  7. Dodgy Pot J Vol Pot?.. Howz about with the P on 50%?
  8. Once its painted and the hardware in... not gonna be much to see... looks better than a step down platform. Good Darts! I'd still go for a Front pickup bezel someone on here 3D Printed some MM bezels - and Small Control plate ad there is no channel cut in the surface. At least my routing attempt of J to P was covered by a scratch plate... See... you're feeling better about ya job already!
  9. I think you are connecting the pup straight to jack, correct? I'd be going back to the side jack and using blanking grommets or caps in the 3 holes... Or 2 if you keep the front jack. Not a fan of the tape on the pickups... I'd Black nail varnish on the poles...
  10. If you had a box and would post i imagine it would be gone...
  11. Just joined the 'Beady Eye' BDI Club... Cheapest £31.60 delivered via Amazon... What's not to like? So straight forward, and the DI might come in handy and Paired with a Joyo (Korg Clone) Tuner to keep things simple. I'm thinking more for my Son and encouraging his fretless escapades.
  12. Behringer BDI21 just landed from Amazon Can't see how you would break this in normal use... switch might be iffy quality, but not the case.
  13. Loves an SR... £230 for a 305... this can't be here long...
  14. Nope... My Son loves his He wanted 2 Octave, Unlined so was thinking of the Harley B450FL, then found this on FB MP... So Sweet.
  15. Arn't all those creams meant to be Anti-Ageing... to make an old set sound like new...
  16. Presume single 'pair' pickup, and the Warman being twin coil split for the VV? Got a jack socket?
  17. Nice... just that bit extra for car boot n carry in and out protection...
  18. I would imagine so... just check resistance from white to plate... 10k ish, and continuity from plate to jack ground... is there a separate ground wire from plate to cavity... or a separate gnd wire from the other coil?
