  1. Nice Style... Likes a Rear Route, great with a Tele-head When i was looking for Cream & White Covers...Had a bit of trouble finding matching colour / texture... These are where i got the cream P https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190980490847?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=jFUUZxIhR6G&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=daj_hJ6fSo-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY They have 2x Sizes on the bay. For a J cover the HOSCO seem to have a strange pole spacing, and didnt fit the std Kent Armstrong
  2. Had a Tuner Pedal from @HugsonicArrived Bubbled 'n Boxed to survive the rigours or Royal Mail Parcel Force... Good comms, dropped me a line when posted. NICE!
  3. KISSBASS... might have a lot of Gene Fans come a looking or even the man himself for a copyright moan... How about BASSIC
  4. The Zoom B1 has a lovely old style warm round chorus TC Corna Tri-a-like... as well as a 'Bass Chorus' that sounds more cold and edgy and modern - wonder if thats the same one.
  5. I'd be on to Bax with the pics for a discount partial refund rather than a return... state it was a little worse than you were expecting for B Sock... Should get you a set of cheap Flats, Nut might be OK for them.. 0000 Wire Wool and lemon oil the fretboard, 0000 Wire Wool and Furniture Wax the neck.
  6. Feet Extenders Details please ... I got one of these, but the Caline PSU is too big for underneath so had to go on top.
  7. Yes mate... spring or serated washer under, smooth plain washer on top. But you have missed the opertunity of posting a pic of your Nordstrand Acinonyx... You will have to revisit this thread and post a 'fixed-it' pic...
  8. I'd take the lids, backs off if ya can... give em a proper airing and look-see inside... maybe a blast with some of that air in a can, used for cleaning computer keyboards... poundland etc.
  9. Blade type buckers? https://www.warmanguitars.co.uk/product/drivetrain-quad-coil-29-87-kohm-ultra-output-pickup-4-wire-our-highest-output-dual-humbucker/ Or https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Belcat-BH-31-EMG-Type-Humbucker-Pickup/B7F?origin=product-ads&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI79_Wy5XD_QIVpOjtCh34zAgAEAQYBSABEgIlu_D_BwE
  10. Nice... i think they are clear plates, with an image or colour applied to the rear... so a lot more resilient...
  11. Sitting in the corner... the black headstock kept getting at me... out with the sander, now much much better... And to think, Ibanez cover this up on almost every SR with a facing?
  12. Nice striping on the top in grey black, finish looks deep and scratch free, enough to make it different yet familiar. Mono Rail Bridge, Rear Route, Bound Body, MM pickup, Maple 'n Pearl, Active... With a more Tele'd headstock, or softening the triangular points, would give a look of a boutique!.. The actual ding's n chips to the inside edges don't look that bad. Nail Varnish would give another couple of 'good from here meters' and wouldn't be noticeable under stage lights...
  13. Pics please... I think the cheapest you will find is doing the prep yourself, or if you have a local Auto Repair Paint Shop, that could give it a go over next time they are doing black... Rattle Can finish if you are any good?.
  14. Zoom B1 Four or the B1X Four with the Pedal... Amazon £79... the X is available for the same price...
  15. The actual wiring dia, or the switch position description, shaded and un-shaded described as on...
  16. Check out the Build Diaries for Body and Necks, Heads even, but mainly removal... Not seen hips listed?
  17. So @walshy when was the pic taken? All your fault... https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-00167-1
  18. I've the Maida Vale in my SR300 P Conversion... not shy at 10k but balanced with the Alnico IV... They are also 4 wire so series parallel and all that... also matching Stacked J. Drop David Adams a message via Reverb, please Mention Basschat and my build... he wound me one... think it's a one-man small operation.
  19. Ah... so fingerboard replacement rather than just fret saw n fret... i'd still message our andy... you can check some fretboard replacement, and other work of his in the Build Diaries...
  20. On what bass? I would most certainly be dropping a certain @Andyjr1515 a message...
  21. What sort of sound are you after... a few to consider... cost order £18 - £55... and all get a lot of praise. My Bitsa's and Projects include some of the below... Wilkinson Ceramic or Alnico 5 Maida Vale Low Rider Alnico 4 - via Reverb Entwistle Ceramic or Neo ToneRider Kent Armstrong Ceramic or Alnico Softest Warmest... Maida Vale. Mid ground... Tonerider / Kent Armstrong Alnico Agressive... Entwistle C then Neo MONSTER MAGNETS!
  22. @TheGreek... again, apologies... 🥺
  23. Unfortunately the Caline 5 had the dimensions down wrong... 35 instead of 30 so it's had to go on top, which is an 4rs3...
