They look the same to me... I'd take em out and see if there is a sticker with the model on the underneath... They might be ceramics...

I don't think each half are Stacked... I think they are conventionaly wound with the Humbucking Effect from each half being wound in an opposite direction... I think the price difference is in the more expensive Alnico v's the cheaper Ceramic Magnets. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.northwestguitars.co.uk/amp/wilkinson-pickup-shop/ Some Jazz pickups are wound 'stacked' to reduce the hum associated with a single coil

Warman P bass pickups, anyone here use them
PaulThePlug replied to shoulderpet's topic in Accessories and Misc
I undetstand your thinking, but if €£$ is a consideration, it is for me, thats £16 down the drain, and maybe half the cost of a better upgrade. Lot of love for the Warman and Wilkinson, but are these simply Badged cheapies? Dunno. Recent posts and love for the Entwhistle... check ya enough room, and i think the ears are wider... Also Kent Armstrong via WDMusic And keep an eye on the FS here. Upgrading a Squier or something, but swapping on a US Fender might just be a change... -
Ibanez SR500... different sound - new pickup or preamp?

Cheapy plates from China Ali Express... Control Plate fits fine and great chrome finish. Scratch Plate (Still has its plastic on...) the grey pearl looks good, adding a little flamboyance for a jazz, like a brightly colored pair of socks... rather than the full cravate 'n braces of tort! It needs some fettling around the control plate, neck pocket and pickup holes... It's meant to fit a Fender Jazz ( and pics showing it does...) rather than an Aria Pro, so no real surprise... And only a couple of mounting holes line up, but originals will be covered so no biggie... Gonna wire up the control plate pots VBT n socket. But you get the idea...
