Selling my Vintage V52 Telecaster to raise funds for some bass gear It's in excellent condition - Apart from a couple of really minor marks on the back of the body (through normal use) there are no dings, chips or dents. I can't photograph the marks as they are so small they won't come out on photo. A really nice guitar with that fab raw tele sound, it has a really great tone and the neck profile is a nice hand-filler that's a bit deeper/vintage spec than a lot of teles. It's not a baseball bat though, just feels really nice. Balance on the strap is lovely and it's a nice medium weight. Strung with 10s at the moment I think. Comes with a TGI padded gig bag. £230 posted Am open to offers or trades if anyone is interested, I’m looking for a quality compressor like a Cali 76 Compact, also looking for a Pedaltrain Classic Jr. pedalboard and power supply with cash going either way.- 1 reply

Selling my Carl Martin Headroom reverb pedal to raise funds for a new cab - This is a gorgeous analogue spring reverb that has 2 independent but identical channels that allows you to have 2 different sounds (i.e soft, small room reverb on Channel A and a much more dramatic and dark large-room reverb on Channel B (or vice versa). Has a cool dampner lever to protect the springs when transporting. It really does sound fantastic, no digital emulation here just real spring reverb. Boxed in mint condition. SOLD -

I’m sure there’s some variance in using certain components over others, but a lot of it seems like pure snake oil = marketing speak and hype to inflate prices. In blind tests these holy pedals are never far away from their clones/copies in tone or performance, and in a live situation these differences hardly matter anyway.

I have the exact same model at home and love them. I need to put them on a couple of stands (which I’m planning on making) to get the optimum angles on my desk but they’ve been brilliant so far. I think you’ll be happy with them 😃

I'm in the same boat where I don't have a lot of disposable income to splash out on gear, but to me that's a pretty good leveller for a couple of reasons... 1 - It makes me concentrate on enjoying the things I do have and means I spend more time playing rather than GASing. 2 - You can get a ridiculous amount of bass for £300 these days, even more if you're buying a well looked after used instrument. I'd say embrace the restriction, I can be a challenge but it's all relative value wise. -

Accounting for inflation those prices roughly equate to the following in 2022 money... Tele - £1,567.20 Strat - £1,887.77 Precision - £1,709.68 Jazz - £2,051.61 When you consider cases were an additional cost as well the prices seem higher in the 70's than they do now! -
