Black on maple looks stunning, there's no better combination, but I would always choose 3 band EQ over 2 band. I've had a lot of them in the past of both types, and IMHO 3 band EQ has much wider possibilities.

I did exactly what Cuzzie described. I used all the options on the configurator, and in the email I asked if they could do the reversed headstock and binding in addition to all that. The answer was positive with additional questions from Sandberg regarding the color of the binding and dot markings on the neck side. After few more emails about the possibilities of drop D tuner (which was not feasible), they came out with a price, and we agreed about the dealer because Sandberg does not do direct sales. And then came the waiting....

Well, that's a real beauty !!!

I've never liked the way they look. That PJ combination is like a Frankenstein for me, a ruined perfectly designed P bass. If I wanted that kind of a sound, I would go for whole different brand and look. But that's just my taste.

I use GK MB212 II, changed it for old GK MB210, so now I do not need to run it on more than 1/3 of the full power. The old MB210 was quite seriously used but never got overheated. However on a new MB212II, fan is pretty loud and turns on very often. Generally, I like Class D so much, that would never go back for a Solid State.
