    It actually still has the mute under the back cover,gigged( very gently) yesterday with it,kept the pup cover on as the earth wire sits under it.

    “A “necks on jazzes but love the wide “ C“ neck on a precision,for 20 years I used a 64 p neck on a 67 jazz,I bought the jazz new a but unscrewed the jazz neck and swapped it with a used 64 p neck that was on the bass next to it,can’t see that happening in a shop these days😀

    Just a thought…..,if the rosewood sounded deeper ,maybe change your eq to suit that bass,sometimes it can be “better” than the one you went for originally….

    I probably should not say this 🙈,I had one of these cabs for many years over 20 years ago,small car,3 young children,I cut it in half and joined it together when I got it out of the car for the gig😀

    Alex does not recommend mixing bf 10 and 12,I tried mixing a bf 1x12 and 1x10 …did not work for me…should have listened to Alex in the first place😀

    For many years I used a Trace V4 (all valve) through the matching Trace 4x12 +horn cab ,it was thunderous,loved it

    I have a super twin that I am very happy with.If it’s a small gig I use a super midget,if I find I need more,which has not happened yet,I leave a midget in the car so that I can add it to the super midget if needed...

    I have the super twin,awesome.I had a 10 with a midget,that did not work,the 10 did not keep up,bought a super midget and that works great with the midget.So for a small gig I take the sm and if I decide I need more I can grab the midget out of the car
