Is that the correct spelling ? I've been thinking of getting one I and off for a couple of years. You pube clips look good . Thinking of plugging bass in and have some fun . Advice please Cheers;)

It's so easy to use, even I have recordings on there. Shame . Don't want to go to something more fiddly .

There are loads lmho . (Quo, Maiden,ac/dc etc.) I've just been listening to anthrax's later stuff. Another metal band I know . I know what I'm getting , but they're still giving it some and it's still sounding good .

Great advice from all of the above . My opinion? Don't think about the bass for now. Get on with your life . Don't sell your stuff. Wait a while, and see if you notice anything missing. Btw ; regarding the girlfriend . Were you going through a sticky patch at one time ? Sorry if I'm asking the Wong question . A good friend of mine was engaged to someone Ho was actually resenting him playing . To his friends, we got the impression that she encouraged his playing. But, behind closed doors it was the opposite . He has been in loads of bands and is an awesome player. He married somebody else in the end . Lucky escape . Good luck in what you decide

TBH , I don't really know what the title of this post should be . Anyhow: I saw a band mentioned in the metro (Toy), about a year or so ago. I checked out of few vids on you pube , and I thought they had promise. A touch of prog and psychedelia here and there ( nothing original ) ,but I thought they had potential. However, I'm just listening to one of their albums on Spotify and I'm disappointed. Let's just say that, if I paid for the cd ( I still buy some ), I wouldn't have been happy. What's the main problem ? The vocals ! The guy sounds like he's gonna top himself because he can't find his winning lottery card . Or maybe the girlfriends found a sugar daddy . My god , he makes morrissey sound cheerful . I'm too old to see them anyway Got me thinking ; has anyone been disappointed in a band in a similar situation ? I'm just going to change albums ...

I have a kustom combo. Brilliant for what it is . Has a cd input also. Very loud , and handles a five string brilliantly . Got mine brand new in a part exchange for a peavy amp in Sudbury . Btw: the cube amp looks tempting , and the you pube demos are rather good . If I never had seperate effects units I would buy that .

Yours looks great Matt I believe new , the rrp was about £1600. They can go for less than £1000. I love the look of the green one (the blue and red ones before them are nice too). Unfirtunately for me , I'm used to headless , so I won't get one . Btw; I think the latest one looks horrible (I was talking about the stereo / drop d basses;) )

Thanks zenitram. I'm glad you understood my question. I thought I had everyone baffled . Looks like I'll have to get a jam man , and then an akai . Or , the Roland thingy I asked fr in the wanted section

I have a couple of loopers hardly used. I have had an idea in my head, that won't go away . What I want to do, is to record bass loops ,,then load onto some pads ( akai mpk , or similar ?) . So, for some easy fun ( nothing technical ) , I want to be able to have some drum pads pre programmed . I then want a couple of empty pads for me to put my own bass loops/ general samples etc. The idea being, I would have just have to press a pad with the sound/ loop I want and record it With the digitech jam man , it has an s d sound card feature. Does this mean I could record my bass ( or any loop ) onto the sound card . Then , take sound card out of jam man and put it into a sample pad ( akai mpk?) . This would mean I would be able to just press the pad and sound that I recoded should be heard? Please advise . If this works, I will put my boss and ditto loopers up for sale . Cheers

Great amp . I only downsized mine, to a combo. Wish I kept it . It will easily sell , if you have to .

I must say ,that although there are some very helpful you pube clips here, they have almost put me off of keyboards. Sorry. They've done me a favour. Sorry charic, but if I were you, I'd just chill out at the back with the keys that yo have, and join another metal band. Maybe , you could put a whammy bar on your bass?

Don't forget the sound . I got rid of my Hohner professional headless. Great feel etc. I could even slap a bit on it . But, the sound was muffled . Steinberger so on the other hand- perfect sound but expensive. I ce got an xm-3 full bodied one. If I was in the o p position, I'd be after the synapse , mentioned here the other day .
