RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE

Yeah, could be tangled or something. I've been using same adapter on my Roland sampler . No problems there. I've always kept the boss looper I. It's box, and hardly used it . Just very crackly . Will let you know the outcome tonight . Cheers

I have the above, purchased new and hardly used. Today, I thought I'd hook it up and use it. As soon as I press down with my foot, there is loads of noise . I thought it was the cables , but after using both of my combos I realised that is the footswitch itself. Sounds horrible and rustly . Use mains only. No battery. Crackle crackle crackle . Please advise Cheers

Thanks guys, that is it ! I'm wondering, how it has gone from my devices. I thought once you paid/ downloaded, then it is mine. I've sent an email to the wooden support team. I did say that I cannot remember if I paid , although I think I did . Should get a response by Tuesday .

Thanks Roger. It is not . I'm on my Mac mini and there is nothing there. I've just synced my iPad to it . Nope. Doing the same with my iPhone 4 and 5s. Guess it may have been pulled for some reason

I know how to look into apps/ purchased etc. I purchased an app ( looptastic) . After doing the search, the app disappeared. Gone! I think I paid for it also. I purchased the app about 3 years ago. Has this happened to anyone else ? Could it be an update issue? Copyright issue ? Not the end of the world, but annoying . Cheers

Interesting that you mention metal Paul. I read in magazines back in the '80s /'90s that metal& fretless don't go. Amazing the amount of metal bands that do use fretless now. So I guess fretless is good for metal ( sorry about your situation tho')

As I've only had this unit a few days, I've decided to keep it . I will buy the card on the bay ( and any others I can find as and when). I will erase the samples I had from the factory. This will give me more room . Final answer !

What would today's equivalent of that sampler be? Nothing complicated obviously . Maybe I should offload this and get something with more time ??

Mmm. You're not wrong ( sampling time - pitiful!) keef. The thing is , what would I get in its place ? It's so easy to use .

Thanks guys . Yeah , I've posted a few threads about this In such a short time 2mb /5 volts .gold dust . Only used it a couple of times , and like it . Frustrating tho' about the tiny amount of time to record each sample . Looks like i should bite the bullet.

Last week, I purchased a boss sp 202from eBay . It's almost 20 years old. It's very easy to use. The only problem I have , is that it needs a smart media card . ( the equivalent of an s d card) I've only seen one available . Of course I have to go to eBay , and an American seller has it. It will cost between£50-55. I do like this sampler, and would imagine something else would be more complicated to use. Not sure whether to keep it , and get the expensive card , or sell it . Your thoughts ?
