8. well, I'm a huge rush fan and will be buying the DVD . From where I was situated in the 02 ,there were bits I couldn't see,so the DVD will make up for it. Not sure how many years they have left, but I aim to see them at every London gig till they stop .

 10.
Sadly, the answer is yes, the NWOBHM and the subsequent fist waving metal as rebellion music seems a long time ago. Ozzy for example the once prince of darkness, and he was, now a sad act reality tv star we laugh at, metal has become "pop"
You speak the truth
 11.
Metal's not popular round here - the missus keeps turning it off.
12. Is there any decent bands out there without tattoos these days? Regarding the gruff vocals . Back in the '80s there were more Halford wannabes. Thank you napalm death
 13.
Metal has been pop for many years now. it has a defined image that isn'y just scruff and black anymore. tattoos and hair do's are obligatory. All the bands have the same sheen production. It's all bollocks basically. the last metal band was probably Pantera!
Says it all really. Metallica, slayer and anthrax never needed that back In the day.
 14. True, but they're very addictive
 15.
Here's where I think an alternative comes in: not using a looper connected to a bass, but building a loop without bass parts on a Kaossilator or similar, and then playing bass to it. It's like a band who never get tired of letting you practise and/or develop ideas. Me, I love it. I just make something impromptu on a Kaossilator, and then must find something to do on the bass to go with it. I find that challenging and fun. This may not teach me to play bass, but at least I'm having fun whilst not learning to play the bass.
I do that also om my ikaossilator
 16.
I'd like: Bass builders , fingerboard harmony for the bass-Gary willis and JS Bach for bass- mel bay If they're going
Pm'd;)
 17. Crickey! Things move fast. All on hold , except muted grooves which is still for sale.
 18. I heard a few people say, take it to guitar tech who will change nut and adjust truss rod.
