1. I heard a few people say, take it to guitar tech who will change nut and adjust truss rod.
2. If you classify Jovi/Leppard as metal,(as MTV /tour promoters did in the 8os) then yes metal is pop. Metal has been more fashionable and diverse from the late'80s onwards.Back in the '70s Zep was (wrongly) classified as metal and never got any daytime radio .Same as Sabbath. More bands are rappynmetal, such as chillis/FNM and their influences were metal. I find that if you look for rock covers bands , it seems to be people who love Free/Jovi/Foo Fighters and slash.
3. I have a boss foot pedal type looper which I've hardly used. I am thinking of getting a rack version instead, as I am very lazy with effects. I have been recording bits on sound cloud over the last year or so. Tbh, since recording on GarageBand I have forgotten about it. Loopers are great for us bedroom players . I think they can prove your playing and timing .

6. Saw it halfway brought on the ted button. Very tight . Have only got American idiot and one single. I thought they were a 3piece.
7. Bloody hell! I am now redder than a beet root bass;) Thanks for all the kind words, and of course you are all highly reccomended .
8. Top bloke .Very friendly , knows his stuff . My schecter has gone to a good home.Great. Basschatter;)
9. Thanks for that . I'm keeping my bass amp (g alien Krueger ). I think the sound of a proper bass amp can't really be beat. I get lazy when it comes to the multi fx , and find I don't use them much.
10. Decisions , decisions. Not gigging anymore, and I find the pod farm pretty good for effects(tho 'not many bass ones)....
11.
Yup, as above. Not sure on your budget but for valve stuff, combo, I'd consider mesa walkabout, orange, ebs (not sure if there's a valve in there). Additionally, maybe consider separates such as genz Benz, gk and Tc electronics....... For starters!
Yeah, walkabout scout. Also aguilar. Was gonna say GK and markbass ,but you want a valvey sound.
12.
Just raise a new ad and it will take you through the process mate
For sale; cute meerkat . Head ripped off . Will make a nice toy for your hungry jack Russell , or aggressive cat. Smashed TV forces sale..
13. Mustang Sally? Actually stray cat strut probably sounds better on both by stray cats . Summer in the city maybe ? White room by cream ?
14. Nice bass, great price. 80s ,yes 70s not sure
15. This thread is good...fingerlickin' good .
16. My washburn status got customised by accident. After the frying eggs, and the radio signals I was receiving, the bass is now passive. Same pickups, but the active circuitry was removed bynGraham Noden in Denmark street. I also had to have a switchcraft jack fitted , as I damaged the original . The band I was in loved the new sound. Washburn status are very bright sounding basses
17.
I love living where I do. There are approximately 15 sites within about a 3 mile radius that have outdoor mini festivals every year. Most Friday and Saturday nights in the summer I can sit in my back garden, sipping a beer, and listen to live music. I get to hear anything from unsigned originals band and pub covers bands(a fair share of tribute bands too) right through to bands you used to love but thought had split up decades ago. A couple of years ago Tyketto headlined on the Saturday night, and the wind was in just the right direction, that it wouldn't have been much clearer if I'd been sitting in my lounge listening to a live recording. I've often wondered what some of my less music loving neighbours think of it, but we think it's brilliant. Oh, and before someone asks why, if I love listening to the local live music so much, why don't I get a ticket and go? That's the plan for next year once the kids are old enough to enjoy it.
Cool!
