That's arrived a couple of weeks back for my bank, and gave me a right laugh. Transferring money to a colleague who was doing a collection at work. We all know him by a short, single syllable, perfectly reasonable name. It verified the name on the account with his full name including a wonderfully florid middle name. Much teasing 😄

And an amp sim pedal if the band are all using IEM and/or the church bass amp isn't up to much. The Behringer BDi21 is dirt cheap, and surprisingly good. I've got into the practice of creating two copies of a receipt of sale and collection, with photographs of the item and serial numbers, and asking the buyer to sign for collection and I sign for sale. I tell them straight that it protects both of us, and gives them something to show the insurance in the event of the item being stolen. Everyone has been very happy to sign, though one chap I didn't entirely trust and I discretely photographed his car on my drive as well. (Not this item btw)

A colleague of mine is from Northern Iran. He currently has a 4.5kg Toblerone sitting at his UK house, waiting for when he can fly back to Iran and take it to his family. We pointed out that it looks like a bazooka and he will never get it through customs to Iran!

Things I remember from woodwork lessons: measure twice and mark up clearly, always cut on the wastewood side of the line, planing anything square is sodding difficult. Planing it square and not ½" undersized is sodding impossible! Well done!

I threw out the linseed oil I used on my school cricket bat some years ago. Still got the bat, though I hardly used it at school. I could probably string it and put pickups on it, would get more use!

Strictly speaking a birthday present, but my birthday is so close to Father's Day that they tend to get merged. Very pleased 😁
