Band T-shirt thing only happened once in a band I was in: One of the guitar / singists had written a song called 'Cartoon Victim', and decided to have their own T-shirt made for a gig with the title emblazoned across the front. We ripped the pee out of him before the gig, and even more afterwards when someone from the audience asked who 'Car Tim' was - his guitar strap covered the rest! Never again!

Anything live where the singer / guitarist says "It's dead easy - it's a cover. It's in A minor - you'll pick it up!" And then starts playing in D major and shooting you evil looks...

I first came to the Basschat site in 1974, looking forward to chatting about bass and the like. I was very disappointed, as people weren't discussing bass, but some weird guitar things. Not a single mention of the best bait to use, or most common habitat of the bass. Disgusting really - I shall be contacting advertising standards.
