  1. Congrats, I had a 414 , really great bass and I’ve got a 1024 which does sound slightly different but also very good, I like the easy selection of pickups with the little switch
  2. This sounds a bit worrying if that’s what happened
  3. I haven’t been defeated yet on the reggae and dub front , but a few other basslines I like are really challenging for me from different genres , and unless I devote myself totally on them ill never get them down properly, they are, Rhythm stick Stomp- brothers Johnson Some of James Jamerson ones
  4. I’d say that could be the original case, the logo with the made in USA underneath and the R symbol was used mid to late 70s, really nice colour and checking on body, very cool
  5. I’m a joiner/cabinet maker by trade and this is way above my knowledge, outstanding work sir, it looks amazing

  7. Yes I know what you mean, some songs sound great with a reggae vibe or cover but I’m not sure about that one
  8. Yeah, I’ve heard that one before , it’s certainly different, I think they did a few different tracks, one was called rockers galore I think which wasn’t bad
  9. I’ve been working my way through this one for a while now and getting on surprisingly well, I’ve been learning by ear which I prefer, I’m liking the way this video is laid out
  10. Top one, I totally forgot about Beenie man
  11. I’ve been listening to some early yellowman this week which I haven’t done in years, was going to go with one of his then remembered this, slower riddim but I think it’ll pass the dancehall I’ve still got many of my Barrington Levy albums, Shaolin Temple is my favourite but this is quite a classic
  12. Good for you Geek, I’ve never played a sire but I’ve heard good things and it looks great, hope it works out for you
  13. Oh yeah, looking great stew , you got flats on it?
  14. Yeah, I use the Gibson pump one too
  15. I don’t know much about pino but I think the custom shop is based on a 62, I nearly bought one
  16. I’ve always liked those, I only use Ampeg myself, do they have a fan and and are they quiet for home use
