  1. Scroll to the left gives you the 2012 colours , I think more were added later https://www.chorder.com/electric-bass-guitars/fender/2012-american-standard-jazz-bass-8784
  2. Ampeg V4-B, it’s quite beastly
  3. What would be it’s value if it was fixed up
  4. I’ve found exactly the same with my 1024, I was playing my US jazz and left all the amp settings the same , the 1024 was quite a bit louder and considerably deeper on the bass front, I wouldn’t say it was better, just different 🙂
  5. Omg how cool is this, none for sale though
  6. Time for an Errol track
  7. Thanks mr P , I’ll take a look 👍
  8. Thanks JL👍, very informative, so I’ve just ruled out the HE, I’ve no use for a tweeter 🙂
  9. I’ve just got an ampeg V4-B amp and I’d like to pair it with an ampeg 115 cab, the 3 main ones I think are PF 115 LF PF 115 HE SVT 15 E but I believe there’s others, I’m using my Markbass ny 115 at the moment which I like , but I fancy trying an ampeg to match, what’s the differences and will I still get nice deep lows for reggae and dub 🙂
  10. Very nice, love that colour ☝️
  11. I’ve found labella flats break in fairly quickly , I’ve had them more or less since I started , but the fender ones I tried once seem to take ages before they started to feel any good ,and they had a higher tension, which might not be a good idea on a stingray as they would be stiff at the bridge
  12. I’ve got one , they are a great bass and the active switch gives a nice boost 🙂
  13. Was they new flats, only some can feel tacky out of the packet but once they are played in they are silky smooth, maybe buy a lightly used set from here, they come up quite often 🙂
  14. Starting the day with Peter Broggs
  15. Sounds good, I’m feeling the urge to try this on something 😁
  16. Nice job stub, it looks so much better
  17. Mine was really nice, I couldn’t fault it, I just thought Japanese build was supposed better, but maybe not
  18. I’ve never had a jap one but I’m led to believe so 🙂
  19. I’d say it’s worth £550, I’ve just sold my 70s RI mim, for £500 and I’d say build quality wise this is probably better
  20. Nice precision big t 👍
  21. It’s a really great amp and the sound is superb, I’m just finding my way around it, I’ll probably have more questions for you 😁, what cab do you use
  22. Markbass NY115, at the moment
