  1. Steinberger basses are fairly light, I think they are around the 7.5 lb weight
  2. I only use 5 frets, you can have the other 15 😁
  3. Cruising through Loughton with a bit of Barrington Levy
  4. Yeah I like the white ones, the black looks good too
  5. Yeah I’ve been watching that one, thanks Al , what would you say would be a reasonable price 👍
  6. I can’t remember what they were new , but you won’t see many us jazzes around less than £650🙂
  7. Good luck, keep us posted on how you get on 👍
  8. Nothing wrong with that SumOne, I do it all day 😁, that’s a great version, concrete jungle is among my favourite tracks, not the easiest to play, great bassline 👍
  9. The new one from Don chandler @donstrumental, great bassline this one and well explained , nice one don ☝️
  10. I’m not 100% sure but didn’t the 1997 only have string through body , otherwise they are a great bass and that’s a good price
  11. Yeah, it was quite a few years ago , but they didn’t feel great out of the packet , but once they were played in they just got better and better, I can imagine they sound good on a mustang 👍
  12. I’ve got 2 jazzes with D’addario tapes, love em 👍
  13. I think that’s too nice to put in the garden , what a lovely memory 🙂
  14. Really nice job BT, and I like the stand seat , what a great thing to keep 👍
  15. I’ve often thought of having a stack knob jazz finished in shell pink sparkle , with an ebony fingerboard, I think that would look cool
  16. I don’t blame you tricky, if it has sentimental memories you have to keep it 🙂, they are both really nice 👍
  17. I think one of those might be the same one I looked at on Andertons , it’s the snowy night finish, it’s 3k on their site
  18. I listened to an album I haven’t heard for quite a while, it’s Wanted Dead or Alive by Peter Tosh, this track has a great Bassline by Robbie Shakespeare with little subtle changes and this has a funky feel about it with Gwen Guthrie on vocals
  19. If anything I prefer the first one, it sounds a little warmer, I’m not normally a fan of pick playing but that sounds good and it’s a nice groove
  20. Superb album it’s probably one of my favourites, I’ve got the original on vinyl, this is a heavy track
  21. You’ll have to get in the queue for that one Richard 😁
  22. Cruising through the Olympic park Stratford listening to Johnny osbourne
