  6. There’s a really nice 68 jazz on there at the moment ,and the thing I also like about the site is they offer to setup the basses for you . A professional setup will be carried out on this bass, we would like to offer you a free personalised setup upon purchase. Please just let us know your preferences and we can get the bass right for you, including a new set of strings.
  7. I’m playing some willi Williams today
  8. I left school in 1980 ,and most people I hear saying the music then wasn’t good were people who weren’t there, there was lots going on in many different genres and lots of new bands about, for me it was the best time to be around, certainly in the reggae world
  9. Yes quite a few, one I’m glad I did buy was my Hohner B2A, it’s a great bass and it has a different feel to everything else I’ve got, it’s quite a powerful thing in active mode
  10. Never seen one of those before, very cool 👍
  11. Cruising through Woodford listening to this
  12. Don’t know them, and they’ve never come up in any of my searches
  13. Great thread, my bass tutor long time back in the day was a blues player, so I started out playing it, if I feel like some laid back tracks I normally play along to these .
  14. Dennis Bovell, silly dub
  15. Don’t know how you got on b5 , but there’s a nice 75RI here accepting offers, nothing to do with me 🙂 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Jazz-75-Vintage-Reissue-Bass-Made-In-USA-2002-/265665799556?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  16. Would I replace a stock bridge on a 70s P for a Kickass type bridge ?, No never, I would definitely leave the original one on, I’ve switched the bridges about on a few of my jazzes ,but that was because I like the look of the threaded saddle type, and I can’t say I noticed any difference in the sound
  17. Definitely the shirt
