  1. I play with a really low action and occasionally I’ve had to add a shim , many say that if it was built properly you wouldn’t have to do it 🙄, but depending on your set up preference I don’t see anything wrong, stewmac sell them
  2. Very nice, GLWYS
  3. Back on Woodin, thanks 👍
  4. I can only get activity that I’ve previously posted in , anyone else 🙂
  5. All general activity is blank for me
  6. Nice one ead, such a good colour
  7. Cruising through Bethnal Green listening to barrington, such a great bassline
  8. I had this when I bought a used set and the G was too short for my jazz, I messaged labella who passed me on to an outlet in the US , the string was only £12 but postage was £16, so I just bought a new set
  9. Really getting into some jimmy London lately, this one is growing on me, it’s on the album Welcome to my world
  10. I’ve got the jazz elite and I always unplug when not using it, this is from the fender owners manual, Fender® offers basses with passive electronics (no batteries) and basses with active (battery-powered) preamps. Depending on the instrument, your active bass may have either a 9-volt (one-battery) system, or an 18-volt (two-battery) system. Visit the Knowledge Base in the Support section of www.fender.com, where the service diagrams link presents detailed information on more than 250 Fender instrument models. Typical battery life for both systems is approximately 600 hours of playing time. All Fender basses with active preamps are equipped with switching jacks that engage the battery when a cable is plugged into the jack. To maximize battery life, unplug your cable from the bass when not playing the instrument.

  14. Welcome WT 👍
  15. It looks very cool, so many options , I’m guessing the rows of knobs work for the various outlets at the bottom?
  16. That could be a nice project for someone
  17. Some nice easy listening for a Sunday , a couple from Jimmy London great tunes .the road is rough and a Carl Malcolm classic
  18. Stewmac do a truss rod wrench, a big phillips doesn’t fit because it’s a cross slot and there’s no hole for the point if you know what I mean, I’m guessing if you’re good with metalwork it probably wouldn’t be too hard to make something
  19. They are quite worn as they are old so might not be very helpful, but hopefully you can still see the silk on the D string , they are on my Kay/cort
  20. They aren’t as popular as dunlops , and I did hear they wasn’t in stock for a long while, so more than likely Dunlop
  21. Just looked and yes, brass balls too
  22. I’ve got status flats and they got black silks too
  23. I’ve been checking out Groundation lately
  24. Nice one Frank, I’ve never heard of them before
