  8. I did too when I first saw it and they said it was all original, there’s a link to it being played too but I couldn’t find much about the band, I think they might have investigated further now , I’ve bought from them also and they was really good
  9. I don’t know about this but if I’ve got 6 different basses hanging up and all fitted with labella LTFs , and they all sound different when played without the amp then it must be the woods/construction mustn’t it ?, although some strings are older than others, so it’s hard to say really 🤷‍♂️

  15. Yes I’ve got one ,they are good, I’ve also got a few fender festival ones and they are quite tangle free too

I chose flats many many years ago for a few reasons, the first was i liked the smooth feel of them and there was no finger and fret noise, also they sounded much warmer than rounds , not all flatwounds are a dull thud ,it depends how you eq them, I’ve had some that were too bright for me , admittedly I don’t know anything about rounds now
