(and it all happened much quicker than I anticipated)[/b] Hi Folks, I bought this cab about 4 months ago from dmz (who I hope won't mind me using his photo) to use in conjunction with my SWR Triad but have only used it twice in that time because the Triad sounds just fine on it's own to me.. So rather than have this sitting around doing very little and also, continuing with my new mission to slim down my gear to just the stuff that I really need, I thought I'd see if there's any interest for it here on Basschat? Here's dmz's picture of it but if anyone wants any more, I'll try and take some others tonight... [attachment=15073:swr_210.jpg] I did use it on it's own at a wedding in July where we were really cramped for space and it sounded really good; punchy with good definition and coped with the low B on my Roscoe Beck pretty well. It's in good condition for it's age, is working perfectly and is built to the usual SWR high standard, particularly as this one was made before the company was bought by Fender (I think?).. Hence it features the older style SWR logo on the front. There's a [b]review[/b] of it [url="http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=86&type=cabinet"]HERE[/url] which will give you a bit more information. Dimensions are [b]23" Wide[/b] x [b]15.75" High[/b] x [b]16.5" Deep[/b]. Iit weighs[b] 55lbs[/b] and just to be clear, it's power handling is [b]350 watts[/b] at [b]4 ohms[/b]. I'm happy to ship it anywhere you want if you're prepared to pay the shipping, via APC or similar courier and of course, if anyone is local and wants to try it out first you're very welcome to come and have a cup of tea and some of my son's jammy dodgers whilst annoying my neighbours ! Since starting playing again (for the first time in 12 years) about two years ago, I've had a Peavey Mk IV which I still have and am very fond of, a Hartke HA3500 which I didn't get on with at all, a Gallien Krueger 700RB which was great and I was stupid to get rid of and most recently, the T-Max.. So by my reckoning, that's 4 amps in 2 years which is about 1 amp every 6 months which isn't too bad a ratio bearing in mind I have been trying to work out what I really like and what I don't like with my gear.. I'm hoping that when the Eden arrives next week I'm going to have finally got it right, as I'm very happy at the moment with the SWR Triad, my Roscoe Beck 5 and the DBX MC compressor.. Just need the right amp to bring it all together! You're absolutely right; I'm a complete flake and haven't come round to check out the EBS Microbass as I should have done so I'll send you a PM or text you to work something out soon.. Cheers Nik

[b]** SOLD pending the usual **[/b] Hi Folks I bought this amp a few months ago from Bottomfeed (who I hope won't mind me using his pictures for now) for £200 in order to try out the whole 'tubey goodness' thing, but have decided that I'm more of a solid-state luddite at heart! To be more specific, the T-Max sounds great with my Fender Jazz 5 but not so good with my Roscoe Beck 5 and because the Roscoe sounded so good with my Gallien Krueger 700RB, I've decided I need to go back to a solid-state head as the RBV is my main bass.. So, I've bought an Eden Nemesis head which means I need to sell this on. But before I put it on Ebay which is getting to be more and more of a rip-off, I thought I'd offer it here to Basschatters first. It's in good condition for a 10 year old amp and was serviced regularly by it's last owner, though the SKB rack case which it's housed in has seen better days! [attachment=15029:T_maxfront.jpg] The Peavey T-Max bass head's were made in the USA and like most Peavey gear, are pretty much indestructible it would seem and the T-Max is sometimes quoted as being one of the best amps the company has ever made. As it happens, I still have an older Mark IV head which is solid-state and that is a testament really to how solidly these USA Peavey heads are made. [attachment=15030:T_maxback.jpg] Basically, it has two channels; 1 x tube and 1 x solid state channels that you can run independently or be combined for a wide range of tones. It also features a graphic EQ, effects loop, DI, switch for active and passive basses and has a variable crossover for bi-amping. This amp puts out a very loud [b]350 watts[/b] into [b]4 ohms[/b] or [b]500 watts[/b] into [b]2 ohms[/b].. [b]Bass is now SOLD!.. Pending the usual...[/b] Hi Folks I just recently bought this beautiful 5 string bass from Merton after having nagged him about it for a year, but sadly, it's just not for me due to having narrower string spacing than I'm used to. The bass itself is in great condition, works perfectly, plays like a dream and for a 34" scale neck it has one of the most rock solid low B's I've ever hear on a 5 string. Soundwise, it's very much in the 'Stingray' mould, having just one pick up in the 'sweet-spot' position. As the name suggests, for funk and groove stuff, it's absolutely perfect! I'll get some better pictures up tomorrow night but for now, details are that it's a black body with black pickguard and maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
