  1. Ever since reading some folk abbreviate Basschat to BC my brain started rearranging the website header to BCasshat.
  2. I use compression in the same way (I don't slap though) A Darkglass Super Symmetry has transformed my pick tone, it has done wonders for my confidence.
  3. I don't get what the fuss is about. Over polished pitch corrected vocals layered over derivative and not very heavy metal. Like Justin Bieber meets Bring me the Horizon.
  4. Same, I still feel we are in a minority sadly.
  5. I have a Stagg one, however I think it may be a little too shallow and narrow. I'll measure when I get home this evening.
  6. It had water damage to the lacquer which is why he sanded it back - probably a result of the defret. I was watching it on ebay but it got a bit too spendy for me, I was gutted when I found out it had taken the road to Langney.
  7. Have a look at how deep the G string nut slot is - it's right through into the fingerboard.
  8. What a fricking cool dude he is. Marvellous indeed 👍
  9. Good to see the correct spelling of Adele's effort 👍
  10. It doesn't get much use tbh - my TCE combo suffices for most stuff but it's nice to have a bigger rig available if I need it. I may have to bring it along just to blow out the cobwebs!
  11. Nothing to boast about down there 😛
  12. We could compare it with my 6.0 🙂
  13. He's certainly very good, and an entertainer. The music is kind of like a Belgian Wulfpeck only with a sense of humour and less smugness.
  14. Unlikely that anyone on here knows him but my old mate Mark Russell was known amongst local PA system circles as Leather Lungs -chiefly due to his ability to activate every single clip light if using mic levels suitable for a regular human!
  15. This is what I do - I also play in the classical position when seated.
  16. Thanks man, that genuinely means a lot to me 🙂
