  1. Hi, do you have an accurate weight for the Yammy please, are the controls volume, volume, tone and what does the switch do 😳?

    Cheers,

    Tim

      OK Mick,

I was hoping it was an extra lightweight jobbie, like the one I sold recently ☹️ - sub 8lbs. I think the switch has been added as none of the other BB’s I’ve owned over the years had a switch.

      All the best

      Tim

  7. One of the few Combos that can handle most live Gigs - heard one in a large Pub in a loud three piece - the clarity and power were amazing πŸ‘πŸ‘

  9. Thanks Skezza & just down the road too πŸ‘πŸ‘......
  10. Ashdown RM-110 front ported Bass Cab - small, light - one hand lift, (even for me and I’ll never see 66 again) ☹️ which sounds really good & is in very good condition. One ten inch Dual Concentric 250w RMS Woofer, which handles the Lows and Mids + a Horn / Tweeter - the original ones of which were found to be faulty, so Ashdown sent an upgraded replacement - although I still struggle to hear it with my old cloth ears? However, I have owned a couple of Mi 112 cabs which also had tweeters that I couldn't hear either 😳😳!! Luckily if I've not fitted it correctly, I have another brand new one which will be included in the sale πŸ‘πŸ‘ The recessed metal top handle is great making lifting and carrying a doddle - one journey load / unload - Bass, on my back - MB200 & leads in Gig Bag in one hand and the cab in the other πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‘, who would have thought 50 years ago It would be possible to go to Gigs on the Bus -which would definitely not have been possible with my Selmer Goliath 1 x 18 - especially if the conductor said 'upstairs room only'πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘ Only selling because I've had a Barefaced 1 x 10 for Xmas which is a Tad smaller to fit better in the space allocated by the current Kitchen Viper πŸ˜‚ These are also Fab cabs, but not entirely sure you could say it's Β£239.00 - more 'Fab''☹️☹️ πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ?? Combined Speakon and 1/4” Jack Input and link - Life saver if you've forgotten your Speakon Lead. Here are those nice Specs. we all love so much πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‘... Dimensions - 46 cm High x 32.5 cm Wide x 33.5 cm Deep Weight - 12 kg - ish Power Rating - 250w RMS Tweeter Front Ported I can post out to the UK Mainland which would cost Β£20.00 via Parcelforce if you are too far away to collect, or if not - feel free to nip around for for a good try out.
  11. Thanks Neil, yes they are rather spiffing - just wish they did a short, or maybe even a medium scale version πŸ‘
  12. My lovely Yamaha Lined Fretless with an extremely low action and oodles of mwaaaaaaaar. I really love this bass, but unfortunately in my dotage I am now beginning to struggle with long scale basses ☹️ There are a few tiny dings and some buckle rash, but nothing major.being overall in excellent condition and plays very nicely. Not an exceptional amount of volume from the passive pickups, but both working as they should. It is a wonderfully shoulder and back friendly 7.5 lbs and seems to stay in tune for ever. The fret lines extend over the edge of the fingerboard, with a dot position marker in between, as on a regular bass making playing in tune very easy - even for an old duffer like me. The volume / volume / Tone controls provide a nice range of sounds, especially that lovely β€˜woody’ Fretless sound we all love. A Rok - Sak β€˜Hob Nob’ of Gigbags is included. but unfortunately I do not have a box large enough to post out and therefore it will probably need to be collected - sorry ☹️ This would be an nexpensive way to try Fretless bass on an instrument that is well set up and very easy to play - if you don’t find double octave necks a bit too much of a stretch, like me. Or alternately, the quality of this bass is more than sufficient to use on stage or in the studio. Thanks for looking Chaps & Chapesses, if you have any questions - please fire away πŸ‘

  14. Great cabs, I remember buying Pete Acadamys - RIP πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯ - he was the original Bassist with Nearly Dan. His Dad had fitted telescopic legs which dropped down under gravity - so it had to be carried upside down - but worked a treat to elevate the cab on stage πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - GLWTS πŸ‘πŸ‘
  15. A really nice, well set up, fat sounding short scale Bass which is in excellent condition and everything works as it should. Low action, fast neck. Solid lightweight Poplar body in a lovely dark flat Walnut finish. Maple neck and Rosewood finger board. P Bass pickup provides Precision β€˜thump’ J Bass pickup provides Jazz Bass β€˜zing’ Individual volume and master tone control provides a cracking array of sounds, with plenty enough Heft for stage use , Wonderfully shoulder and back friendly light at a tad over 6lbs. High quality black hardware. 28.6” Scale. Pics taken with the original round wound strings - which will be included in the sale, but now currently sporting a nice old set of flat wounds for some Jameson vibe. Comes complete with a brand new dedicated, branded, padded Ibanez Mikro Gig Bag & owners manual. Can post to the UK Mainland at a cost of Β£20.00 Here’s a link - hopefully showing a helpful Chap playing a black one.....check out the tone variations.
  16. Bought new a couple of weeks ago from Bass Direct - fitted, tuned and then taken off again - didn’t suit the Bass ☹️ La Bella Deep Talkin’ Bass 750N Black Nylon Tape Wound Short Scale Bass Strings. Gauges = .050 .065 .085 .105 Free postage to the UK Mainland
  17. Ashdown RM - 110 Bass cab small & light - one hand lift, (even for me and I’ll never see 66 again) ☹️ which sounds really good. In very good condition, with just the odd mark but nothing major. One ten inch Dual Concentric 250w RMS Woofer, which handles the Lows and Mids + a really nice tweeter, which is very subtle and can be set to either off / low or high - which then gives the cab a nice Hi - Fi voicing, if required, so although primarily bass cabs they are also ideal for keyboards, Guitar or even vocals etc πŸ‘. The recessed metal top handle is great making lifting and carrying a doddle - one journey load / unload Bass, MB200 & leads in Gig Bag on my back a cab in one hand & a free hand to open doors - Fab πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‘ - now, if only I had a Gig πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚!! Combined Speakon and 1/4” Jack Input and link - Life saver if you’ve forgotten your Speakon lead. Here are those nice Specs. we all love so much πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‘... Dimensions - 46 cm High x 32.5 cm Wide x 33.5 cm Deep Weight - 11,5 kg Power Rating - 250w RMS Tweeter - a nice sounding one πŸ‘πŸ‘ I can post out to the UK Mainland which would cost Β£20.00 via Parcelforce 48 if you are too far away to collect, or if not - feel free to nip around for a good try out.
