MarkBass 250w Blackline Bass Guitar Amplifier 2020 model - less than 12 months old - in incredible minty fresh condition and has had very little home use only due to the Pandemic. Comes complete with a genuine MarkBass padded Gigbag which cost £50 alone & is in full working order. These Amps have a fantastic array of tonal variation, providing anything from Old School 'thump' to modern Hi - Fi sounds.Very powerful, especially at 4ohms - one 4ohm cab, or two 8ohm cabs and as Marco himself of MarkBass says, 'The 250w amp is almost as loud at 4ohms as the 500w amp is at 8ohms' A great feature of the Gig Bag is that apart from protecting the amp in transit, the front and rear panels unzip so the amp can stay protected in the Gig Bag while in operation. Fender Squier Vintage Modified Precision P/J Bass from 2014 in good used condition, there 'maybe' just a few, marks consistent with age and normal use, but I can't see any with my old eyes. Very rare, especially in this condition and offering the best of both Worlds having both a Precision pickup in the usual place and a Jazz pickup in the bridge position, which are ‘Duncan Designed’ and very powerful. It took me over two years to find this, as they don't come up for sale very often and were only produced for a very short period of time. Nice low action that is so very easy to play and incredibly lightweight at just 3.4kg or 7.5lbs in ‘old money’ Plus there are a vast array of tones available by combining the separate volume controls and master tone control, which have been upgraded to a super high quality KIOgen wiring loom, potentiometers and vintage Cap. I was going to upgrade the Pickups and tuners too, but couldn't see the point as the bass holds tune really well & the Pickups have plenty of 'whumph' Has had a really good set up and a new set of Flatwound strings fitted. Original High Mass Bridge. Plays as well as most of the P Basses I've been lucky enough to own, or play during the past half Century and even better than many. May be interested in a trade, p/x for a P or PJ with a 44mm nut and a nice low action - Japan 62P or Bitsa etc The last pic is for illustration purposes only to show how good the Bass looks fitted with a Tort pick guard - (which is not included in the sale, as it was a gift) - It is a standard 13 hole guard that just fits perfectly with no need for extra holes and they are readily available on the T'inter. KiOgon Jazz Bass or P/J wiring loom & knobs, bought for a new project, but not used. It you are planning to use for a P/J Bass with the looms existing Switchcraft Jack socket please ensure your existing Jack socket is the type that is on a plate fitted to the side of the Bass & not the Barrel type, but if it is and you are handy with a soldering iron you could just swap the Jack socket on the loom for your existing barrel Jack, just two wires. It would also be ideal for a two pickup custom build. The quality of the parts and John’s workmanship are second to none, it also has the solderless connections that make fitting so easy. Volume / Volume / Master Tone CTS pots with 1/4” solid shafts, Switchcraft Jack and high quality ‘Old School’ Capacitor. Comes complete with Johns excellent fitting instructions and even a mini screwdriver to fit the connector screws. Please note that the diameters of the CTS potentiometer bodies are 7/8ths of an inch, or 22.225mm - so please check that your control cavity is wide enough to accommodate them, or you would need to widen the cavity before fitting.
