  1. Seagull - Bad Company
  2. Yep, I had the shorty ‘Ray, which is passive, and it sounded like a Stingray.
  3. Absolutely love that, right up my street; quality!
  4. Blowin’ Free - Wishbone Ash
  5. Love that first album, She Said She Said is a fantastic cover.
  6. Great band, Steve Rothery is such an underrated and distinctive guitar player and Pete Trewavas has great tone, touch and note choice.
  7. I’ve had more than I can remember and they’ve all been fine, one of the best upgrades ever IMO.
  8. And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Deaf And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Lead
  9. Turns out to have been a good thing. MY EYES!
  10. In which case, thanks for the thought. However... Harsh 😢, but fair .
  11. Whilst I detect a little mirth in this suggestion, my initial reaction is, “Ooh, good idea, I could sit on it too!” Aging bodies suck 😖.
  12. And following on from the above: Bark Knopfler.
  13. I have visions of something suitably Spinal Tap if they were available .
  14. A big step up to a high stage is a pain in knees going up and jumping down is likely to cause all sorts of damage. Steps at the side are the way of the future, good planning by the venue. 👍
  15. Fields of Fire - Big Country
  16. Bravo! 👏👏👏 Nice new bass too 👍
  17. At the moment (could go up, could go down) .
  18. There is Bareknuckle too: https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/pickups/j-bass https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/pickups/p-bass And don’t forget Germany’s Delano (I have these in a couple of custom basses), great customer service too, https://www.delano.de
  19. My hair (or lack thereof) is as depressing as a Leonard Cohen song . TBF, I quite like Laughing Len, the original version of Hallelujah, being the best, by quite some measure, IMO.
  20. The actual scratchplate is pretty horribly cut. Shame, as otherwise, as a travel bass, it has potential, such an easy fix too.
  21. I can’t say I’m surprised, sadly. The BC collective’s initial gut reaction to this event does seem to have been spot on. I sincerely hope that any monies paid to the organisers is refunded in full and swiftly. 🤞
  22. You did well there IMO. Our very own @BassManGraham.
  23. Short Cut Draw Blood - Jim Capaldi
