    Indeed. I saw Jasper live in the ‘70s, he was hilarious and, IIRC, he confirmed this was was the reason for the release. Now that the 7” is pretty much dead and buried, does anyone bother with novelty releases? The novelty stuff that got into the top 10 is not something the UK should be proud of: Grandad; Grandma We Love You; Shaddupayourface; Ernie; My Dingaling; etc.
