  3. I get that, i was a Coal Miner for 12 odd years late 70s and into the 80s and used to get all sorts of aches and pains,in my hands. If was still doing a Job like that now I don't think i'd be able to play the Bass guitar
  4. Do you clench on your sleep? Your hands that is...Not that i'm aware of,unless the trouble and strife has noticed anything.
  5. Been practising and playing quite heavily recently in fact i was at it until 1 am this morning, somewhere the region of 8 hrs playing trying to learn a set list for a 60s rock n Roll outfit I'm about to be part of.Anyway woke up in night with Pins n Needles in both Hands.Never had this before,Anyone one else had it ?
  6. hope you get it soon
  7. You can't just buy a Guitar like buying a T-shirt, homework has to be done, in fact in my book that applies to most things.I made an error just the other week not a Guitar but a Lawnmower. My trusty Bosch Mower which i have had for 15 years finally gave up the ghost. I naturally thought it's another Bosch Mower for me,so i bought on line at B&Q for collection, got it home and upon closer inspection it was flimsy with thinner plastic, difficult to set the blade height, the grass box came in two pieces with two clips which kept coming undone rendering the thing useless.Anyway gave it a run out and thought this is nothing like the original one, went to alter the blade height and trapped a finger nearly ripping my finger end off after which i began to see red, i felt like John Cleese in Faulty Towers after his Austin Maxi broke down and he thrashed it with a Tree Branch,i would have done the same had their been a branch handy.A bit more product knowledge revealed that the thing was made in China with a Bosch badge on the side of it,the thing went straight back to B&Q.Funnily enough even the staff agreed it was a load of TAT in comparison to the original Bosch ones.

  9. Just being padantic, but punk broke out in the USA in 1974,in the UK it was 76.
  10. inflation in Britain is nearly always caused by this country's Obsession with Growth, one would have thought by now we would have learned something looked at Japan and tried to copy their model .Very tiny growth with by far a better standard of living. We could with doing something about illegal immigration but successive governments choose not 7 million per day and counting.

  18. Anything Chuck Rainey, some of the most melodic bass lines ever from a mainstream act in years gone by. All Bassists should learn at least at Four of Rainey's Lines, and they are not that difficult to be fair. My Old School, And Ricky Don't Loose That Number are both a crackers but i think Walter Becker played Bass on those two.
  19. Right well ill use the fishing analogy for you.A couple of weeks ago i went Fishing with a mate who's Loaded,a couple of days before we went he went out and bought a 3 Grand Pole,he was chuffed to bits that he had this top of the range dangler.WE both rocked up at the venue, he pulled out this shinny new 3 grand exquisite pole , i pulled out my £250 one,I caught 154LB of Carp over a Six hour session,he caught 63ilb.Iv'e been a Fisherman all my life ,he only started about 3Years ago.I rest my case.
